## Mozart Data Reviews
  ### 1. Accelerated our path to actionable data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Mozart has created a data infrastructure that is accessible for non-technical users. Knowing only SQL I am able to connect to the various data sources we have, create tables that connect those data sources, and export them to our business intelligence tool or to CSVs for one-off analyses. The asks that I have to make to our engineering team are minimal and they have independently praised the platform for it's usability.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

The UI itself is still a work in progress and small things like the ability to expand columns in the query results viewer or to download the results of a partial query run aren't there yet.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozart Data:**

They offer a free trial which allows you to familiarize yourself with the platform. Would also recommend users be familiar with Snowflake SQL syntax.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to centralize our data from half dozen plus different platforms all in one place with minimal engineering support. This enables us to create reporting on our entire customer journey, our financials, and our in-product metrics. Again the most critical value add here is that I as a non-technical user am able to create and maintain this infrastructure without pulling additional engineering resources.

  ### 2. Great data platform!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin D. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

ETL is handled easily, Snowflake integration is seamless. Notifications on ETL are helpful.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

The interface could perhaps be a little better, but I appreciate that they prioritize function over form.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data warehouse and ETL

  ### 3. Low overhead efficiency maker

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Mozart Data removes the overhead of managing the "system" and allows you to focus on the schema. When I'm doing analysis and find my query running long or I'm recomputing a field over and over, I can log into Mozart Data and update my schema on a fly. I can add a transform or update an existing transform in seconds and trust that it will refresh for perpetuity. I don't have to worry about cron jobs, scheduling, appending versus recreating tables.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

When you're working with a new schema, you may find it easier to familiarize yourself with the new schema elsewhere before creating new transforms with it. Mozart Data isn't designed to inspect data and understand the schema.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is straightforward to stand up a data warehouse with a source read-only replica and a destination warehouse.

  ### 4. The team at Mozart is fantastic and extremely helpful. Excited to use them for our analytics needs!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prashanth N. | Sr. Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Mozart connectors are incredibly intuitive and easy to set up. And even when they are not, the technical support team is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

A little too early for me to say, but an easier interface to view current MAR/compute usage would be great. I think this exists but the UI was broken when I tried.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly as a data warehouse and for transforms.

  ### 5. Great product - needs some improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

We really like that it's super easy to set up and requires almost no maintenance on our end as the Snowflake instance and Fivetran are completely managed by Mozart.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

There are not a lot of things to dislike about the product. A few areas of improvements would be to be able to integrate it with Gitlab so someone can fork their code instead of copy-pasting it.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to quickly and easily extract, load, and transform data makes it easy to build dashboards quickly, and helps with business insights in a very short period.

  ### 6. Easy to use ETL tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Venture Capital & Private Equity | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Very straightforward on-boarding and set up
And easy to create, combine & transform new (and existing) tables
Notifications of failed transformations are also nice to see

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

Integrations need to expand to more tools (I suspect this will increase over time)

**Recommendations to others considering Mozart Data:**

You'll spend more time (and possibly money) thinking about an ETL tool and warehouse combo than it would actually take to get started and see value out of Mozart, so it's a no-brainer if you're a small data team or a non-engineering team.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Getting all our data cleaned and merged
- Transforming and filtering fields in an easy way just using SQL
- Mainly it's a very easy-to-use ETL tool for non-engineers (and small/single-person data teams) to use.

  ### 7. A great option for building out your org's data pipeline

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Its interface, team, and product support

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

Not quite plug and play for some sources and does require some developer help for some things.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting all of our marketing channels to determine their impact on each other. Benefits are a clearer picture of the company's marketing successes and even the company as as whole.

  ### 8. Great platform to kickstart your data team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

-easy to setup and iterate
-options for fully managed services in snowflake/fivetran or manage yourself
-responsive team

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

-lacking in some advanced ETL source/dependency control feature
-not meant for large organizations with a lot of data

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-create basic data modeling and tables for business intelligence
-quickly iterate upon base model and built more tables

  ### 9. Simple, easy to use transform tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Very easy to see all tables, manage pipelines, and write transforms

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

UI is a little confusing, could also build better debugging tools

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves the painpoint of easily getting all data into a clean data warehouse; our looker implementation and reverse ETLs have become a lot easier.

  ### 10. MVP of a startup's data stack!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Seamlessly connects data sources regardless of sophistication

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

There is a bit of a learning curve, so until you know what you're doing things may feel a bit clunky

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mozart has enabled me - a data analyst - to be our defacto data engineer for the last 6 months. With Mozart, I can easily connect lots of different data sources of various sophistication to give our business a one-stop shop for everything. Mozart works with everything from our proprietary database to common third party applications (like Google AdWords) to raw google sheets, meaning that you can connect literally anything to your data (just put your raw data in a google sheet and use a Mozart Connector!)

  ### 11. up your analytics game with Mozart

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan R. | VP, Analytics, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Mozart makes spinning up an analytics database incredibly easy. Before Mozart we had data from numerous SaaS tools and paid databases that we could only join in Excel. With Mozart we got a clean SQL database with all of our data without spending any engineering time. Overnight our analytics went from a D to an A+

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

Nothing- Mozart is one of the most time saving tools I've ever used.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without knowing anything but SQL I now have a database with 6+ data sources and hundreds of thousands of rows that I can analyze however I want.

  ### 12. Simple ETL service with responsive team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teddy Y. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Simplicity to set up. Pick tables to load, write queries to transform, and the data warehouse is set up.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

Everything has been smooth with the integration so far.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing data pipelines is challenging. With a team proficient in SQL and lightweight in data engineering, Mozart removes the need to manage a pipeline.

  ### 13. A breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan B. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Mozart is great for an early stage start up.It drastically shortened the sales cycle of onboarding with Fivetran, snowflake, etc. This allowed us to move fast on a budget that works for us. As a result, we have a more mature data stack than typical start ups at our stage.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

Its not easy to understand the pricing, and fivetran doesn't have enough connections. We still end up building a lot of custom ETL. I also wish the transforms feature was built on top of DBT.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralizng our business and product data in a data warehouse.

  ### 14. Very powerful data warehouse

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

There are countless integrations that allow us to query and analyza data from multiple sources simultaneously very seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

Sometimes, there is a data lag in the connector sync. This could possibly be caching from the service though.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to be able to join data between our services to generate complex queries for analysis. This is the greatest benefit.

  ### 15. Mozart Data solves my lack of resources

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Albert C. | Data Science Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Made spinning up a data stack super easy

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

At first, they didn't have all connections I needed, but they've since added a bunch more.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn't have enough resources to staff a full data engineer to build and maintain a modern data stack. With Mozart, we were able to get up and running, combining data from various sources w/ very little lift.

  ### 16. Turnkey data stack

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Venture Capital & Private Equity | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

I'm not an engineer. Mozart allowed me to set up our data stack fast and without code.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

No complaints. We've been very happy so far.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to analyze a large data set compiled from multiple sources. Syncing, merging, and visualizing this data was taking way too much time. Now it's automated with Mozart.

  ### 17. Taylor's Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

The ease with which we can communicate with the team.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

The tool isn't as robust as I would like, but it's getting there.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving all of our data integrity problems by having a tool to improve our ETL process.

  ### 18. Mozart Data Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Good database interface with decent API connectors.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

Interface is unrefined and not visually appealing.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Analytics. The ability to connect different APIs.
