I have developed some knowledge using this tool. I'm learning to use visual tools, process maps, brainstorming diagrams. I'm really excited to find ways to use it in college and become familiar with the tools and use it at work, too; many of the tools are necessary not for reporting, but mainly for analysis and decision making. I am on the quality area in the automotive industry and for me, minitab workspace is an amazing time saver with all of the different templates it has to offer. The ones I use the most are PDCA formats, Gemba walk formats and kaizen events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Jose Padilla is a great instructor. He has a strong knowledge of Minitab; when I took the DOE course with him, he was clear and patient in all the exercises and made the class interesting for everyone with real examples, which helped for a better comprehension. I like absolutely everything, but at least for me, taking a Minitab class for the first time is not enough for me to feel comfortable applying this concept for actual examples in my job yet. Workspace seems to be a very streamlined version of what I am used to (Minitab 19). As someone that supports students/faculty that use the ladder software, this new workspace version should alleviate the confusion new users encounter due to being overwhelmed when launching Minitab 19. The software is still a download, which is unfortunate. This application is now small enough that it can be put into an online web-based version to allow everyone to use it.
