During my time working on many migration projects involving thousands of users I've worked with many tools a lot, and as a byproduct have come to be used to a lot of pitfalls and limitations that many tools have. MigrationWiz is a tool I have used many times and is my go-to mail and OneDrive migration tool, due to it giving clear and concise errors during the migration, and the support being readily available to give advice. The tool itself is well documented from implementation through to how to do migrations and does give clear knowledge of any limitations that may have come up due to MS Changes (which are proactively investigated and worked on by their dev team) allowing you to prepare. There is not much I don't like about MigrationWiz, as the main issues are due to changes Microsoft make or Microsoft throttling. The dev team do a great job of updating their features to keep up with these changes, however, MigrationWiz' DeploymentPro only currently reconfigures the Outlook profile, leaving Teams, OneDrive and M365 Licenses to be done by custom solutions. The tool is extremely practical! Create the client, define the source and destination, assign the licenses. Then you can enter the mailboxes to migrate and proceed with a simulation if the credentials are accepted. The scheduling is very simple and the migrations run smoothly. The next morning, what a comfort to have a precise report of what worked and the few elements that failed (often just spam or emails over quota). Calendars, tasks, contacts, everything migrates wonderfully between two Exchange mailboxes. (Private Exchange to Office 365 included) The simplicity and efficiency of the tool make MigrationWiz just essential for us. We recommend it without hesitation. The tool is so easy to implement/configure and initiate the migration. Whenever there is a technical issue, their support is top notch to resolve them. They know their stuff, at no particular time did I raise a ticket and have to go back and say the suggested solution/troubleshooting technique did not work..It was a ask once and get a resolution once kind of seamless support. I loved how their team takes their time to internalize the issue at hand and give conclusive responses. Also, when I had incorrect users added in the migration setup environment, the tool is so easy to operate in that I just edited the address to whatever I wanted and migration got complated. Also, when the switchover was done, I was able to interchange the source and destinatiion accounts in order to fetch anything else left behind. The fact that it does not duplicate content makes this the most powerful tool I have ever used to perform a migration. Migrating content from archive on one tenant to another archive in another tenant is such a cool feature. I would highly recommend BitTitan to anyone looking to migrate from one M365 tenant to another tenant. The subscription is also annual which means you can always go back to the migration environment and redo the migration as many times as possible without fear of duplication. Advanced Configurations: Some features require a higher level of technical expertise, which might pose challenges for less experienced teams.

BitTitan MigrationWiz is a fantastic tool for migrating Exchange and OneDrive. It’s easy to use, reliable, and takes a lot of the stress out of the process. The pre-staging for OneDrive works great, and mailbox migrations for Exchange are smooth and efficient. The processing of logs is clear and detailed, with individual tracking for each mailbox. This greatly facilitates the diagnosis and handling of incidents.

The stability of migrations: the data is processed reliably, which reduces the risk of major errors. In terms of performance, the migrations seem slightly longer compared to some competitors.

The initial handling remains somewhat unintuitive, which can slow down the first uses but is resolved once the philosophy of the product is well understood.

The slowness of migrations: the processing time being longer than with some competitors, this also leads to a longer wait in case of errors. For example, when an "access denied" occurs, it can take several hours to get a response, which is problematic in a context where responsiveness is essential.

During my career as a cloud engineer I've executed countless migration projects. I've tried several tools, and MigrationWiz became one of my favourites. The basic functionalities of the tool are easy to learn so you don't get overwhelmed when you first start using it, but at the same time it offers some more advanced options that can be mastered when you put some time in it. Mails are usually answered within 24 hours so in case of questions or issues you will receive support and your project won't be delayed too long.
