"The Gold Standard for Document Creation and Editing"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Word?

Microsoft Word is one of the most versatile and user-friendly word processing tools available. I like how it combines simplicity for basic writing with powerful features for advanced formatting, collaboration, and professional document creation. The wide selection of templates, styles, and formatting options makes it easy to produce polished reports, resumes, or letters. Integration with OneDrive and Microsoft 365 allows seamless cloud saving and real-time collaboration with colleagues. It’s reliable, widely compatible, and a tool I can always count on for both personal and professional needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Word?

While highly capable, Microsoft Word can sometimes feel overwhelming for new users because of the large number of features hidden in different menus. The software can also be resource-intensive, especially when working with very large documents that include images or tables. Occasional formatting issues arise when sharing documents between different versions or devices. Additionally, the subscription cost for Microsoft 365 may not feel justified for users who only need Word’s basic features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Word?

Microsoft word is used by everyone i know. Including myself. I use this to make every document, my CV and everything I need when using my laptop. This includes writing letters, preparing documents for work. Its got alot of features like you bold writing, table for contents, charts etc. It helps create document easy. You can save your documents onto your laptop or one drive so that you can come edit it or simply print it out. Easy as that! So I love it. Ive been using it for over 10 years. Its better then using other softwares which doesnt give you features of spelling errors, synonym etc. Every of my job role requires Microsoft word so I am expert at using it! Microsoft Word is a versatile and reliable tool that makes creating professional documents simple. I especially like how easy it is to format content, use built-in templates, and collaborate with others through track changes and comments. It remains the gold standard for word processing. What do you dislike about Microsoft Word?

While Microsoft Word is powerful, it can feel overwhelming at times. There are so many features and menus that it’s easy to get lost, and some advanced tools take a while to learn. It also tends to run slower with larger documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Word?

I appreciate how clean and user-friendly this software is. It has allowed me to take numerous notes during meetings, keep track of my to-do lists, and write reports whenever necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Word?

I feel that some of the items in the menu bar have become harder to locate, even though I have been using this software for a long time. It seems less straightforward to find the features I regularly use, especially now that the menu has become more crowded and complicated compared to how it was before. "The most versatile tool for documents - essential for students and professionals"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Word?

Best document processor available currently. It is reliable and versatile. I like its interface, formatting options, and seamless integration with other Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Outlook. Features like “Track Changes” and “Comments” make collaboration smooth, especially in corporate-like professional and academic settings. Cloud integration via OneDrive ensures that it can be drafted on any device and continued editing on another device. It’s also highly customizable with templates for cover pages, reports, etc., which saves a lot of time. Its feature of the automatic Table of Contents is also great. I have used it in my job in EY and currently use it for drafting replies for GST and Income Tax. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Word?

At times, Word feels heavy and takes time to load, especially on older systems. Some advanced formatting (like large tables or images) can get misaligned when shared with others. The subscription-based model (Microsoft 365) is expensive for freelancers like me or students compared to free alternatives like Google Docs. Also, occasional crashes when handling very large files can be frustrating. It does not have the Indian Rupee Symbol, not even in the 2021 Professional version that I use.

It can have features like correcting capitalisation of letters in a word or sentence in a more smarter way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, Trusted Word That Keeps Getting Better with Updates"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Word?

It’s the product I trust and use the most. I personally like it because it’s easy to use, and I genuinely enjoy it because I’ve been using it since I was a kid. It also keeps getting updates, which I think is an amazing thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Word?

One of the things I dislike about Word is that, unlike Canva, it auto-saves documents, but it doesn’t do it very well. I know the new update includes that feature, but it still has bugs, and it doesn’t always auto-save properly. That’s one of the malfunctions they should work on.
