That's why I work with another antivirus; for me, it is more secure and easy to work with. I don't think it is a great option. The defender works if you have a low-quality laptop, but if you spend $900 on one device, you need a better program than just the defender. It's your money at stake. For musicians, it sucks more when you are recording. It's always better to use a Mac for that situation. I think the defender never thinks beyond its basic programs. I remember it always had a poor antivirus and bad signal. In this case, I use another brand of antivirus to get more satisfaction.
