Another aspect is ease of use — the simple drag-and-drop of videos makes it work smoothly, along with tagging relevant videos right away. **What do you dislike about Mediacloud.ai?** The ease of use and the drag-and-drop feature are outstanding. Another great aspect is the GDPR-certified workflow, which helps you easily collect signatures on-site without much hassle. **What problems is Mediacloud.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helping me store and organize multiple video footages that would have otherwise been lost in a few minutes. First of all, it’s meant that when I receive a brief from a project manager, he/she has already made a collection of the footage they believe to be relevant -- making it much easier for me to know what b-roll to implement. This has naturally saved me a lot of time and energy; no longer do I have to spend hours going through footage. My favourite aspect of Media Cloud is the fact that all the legacy source footage can be tagged and made easily searchable. If I need a shot of a certain product in a certain setting, I can put in the relevant search terms and locate it super quickly. It feels very intuitive and for me it has become an essential part of building a narrative. Ultimately, it’s a huge time-saver for anyone working with videos commercially. **What do you dislike about Mediacloud.ai?** Sometimes the encoding or transcoding of footage can be a bit slow. This has mostly occurred if the clip in question has a large file size. But given that this process is happening in the background, it really doesn’t bother me much. I usually do other work/tasks or go for a coffee in the meantime. It’s not the biggest issue but in my opinion it could be improved upon a bit. **What problems is Mediacloud.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Some of the biggest challenges related to my work has been solved by using Media Cloud. The fact that any footage can be found and accessed so quickly makes the whole process of creating videos much more streamlined. I don’t have to spend hours digging through files or having to deal with outdated storage. Now I can focus completely on storytelling and building a strong narrative. Also the way GDPR compliance has been simplified, by ensuring that all the proper documentation is in place, means that I don’t have to have any worries about legal issues, which is always a relief. ### 3. Handling GDPR stuff used to be a hassle, but with the QR-code consent forms, it’s super quick and easy. No more paperwork or chasing signatures—just scan, save, and move on. It’s made my workflow so much smoother and saved me tons of time, letting me focus on actually creating content instead of dealing with admin work. **What do you dislike about Mediacloud.ai?** The only downside I’ve run into with MediaCloud.ai is that it doesn’t fully support still images yet. Since I work with both photos and video, it can be a bit frustrating not having everything organized in the same way. It would be great if the tagging and folder system worked just as smoothly for images as it does for video. That said, I know they’re already working on it, which is reassuring.
