MayaScale Cloud Data Platform Reviews & Product Details

MayaScale Cloud Data Platform by ZettaLane Systems is a high-performance, software-defined storage solution that leverages NVMe over Fabrics technology to consolidate direct-attached NVMe resources into a shared storage pool. This platform enables on-demand provisioning of NVMe namespaces, allowing clients to access high-speed storage without the constraints of over-provisioning or stranded resources. Designed to be network-agnostic, MayaScale supports RDMA for on-premises deployments and standard TCP for cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration across diverse infrastructures. Key Features and Functionality: - Flexible Storage Provisioning: Dynamically allocate and deallocate NVMe storage, optimizing resource utilization and eliminating the inefficiencies associated with direct-attached storage. - High Availability: Implement Active-Active configurations with synchronous mirroring, providing persistent storage solutions that deliver up to 10 times the performance of traditional Elastic Block Store systems. - Network Versatility: Utilize RDMA for low-latency, high-throughput on-premises setups, and standard TCP for cloud-based deployments, facilitating adaptable and efficient storage solutions. - Advanced Data Services: Enhance storage efficiency with features such as compression, deduplication, and synchronous mirroring, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. - Seamless Integration: Present true NVMe devices to clients using standard NVMe driver stacks, eliminating the need for proprietary drivers and simplifying deployment. Primary Value and User Solutions: MayaScale Cloud Data Platform addresses the challenges of modern enterprises by providing a scalable, high-performance storage solution that separates storage from compute instances. This separation removes deployment restrictions associated with locally attached ephemeral NVMe SSDs, offering persistent storage with superior performance. By consolidating NVMe resources into a shared pool, organizations can achieve significant cost savings, reduce data center footprints, and enhance business productivity through efficient storage management.
