This tool significantly reduces the time required to manually verify the IP address, especially if they're using a VPN or anonymizer service. **What do you dislike about MaxMind minFraud®?** Lacking in billing and shipping address verification. We have to use another tool to help confirm the resident at an address is whom they claim. It would be nice to have better mouseover explanations of all data points -- some are not intuitive. Also, email address validation (very limited) would be ideal. Update: Lately we've been seeing customers flagged as possible fraud, some with a very high probability score. It can be very difficult trying to figure out why someone is flagged as likely fraud since the explanations in their back end sometimes don't make any sense. **What problems is MaxMind minFraud® solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reduces the man-hours to validate likely fraudulent orders coming into an e-commerce website. It has caught possible fraud orders even a quick manual review may have missed. The availability is a great value because we use it a LOT **What do you dislike about MaxMind minFraud®?** Is not card present oriented, the product is just for e-commerce and non-present cards. Also we can not set dynamic rules checking the value and taking the decision depending of the value of a data **What problems is MaxMind minFraud® solving and how is that benefiting you?** It help us to prevent possible fraud, also the IP address information help us the have a double fraud check, for example: First attempt to fraud sometoimes minfrand doesn't catch it so we have a double check to see the credit card information and make sure the transaction doesn't comes from a red flag fraud country. Would want to just fully ban the address for both. **What problems is MaxMind minFraud® solving and how is that benefiting you?** When we opened our site to the public such that anyone could purchase we saw a massive spike in chargebacks. It's solutions are a cheap and effective way to prevent fraud online! **What do you dislike about MaxMind minFraud®?** They sometimes struggle to not charge for attacks such as botnets etc that flood sites with traffic that can wrack up huge charges in a very short span of time that can cause problems. **What problems is MaxMind minFraud® solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps prevent fraud through my e-commerce business and helps reduce loss and chargeback rates is mostly what its best at.
