Most of the data points you need to verify a customer or order can be found in the simple-to-use minFraud dashboard. This tool significantly reduces the time required to manually verify the IP address, especially if they're using a VPN or anonymizer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lacking in billing and shipping address verification. We have to use another tool to help confirm the resident at an address is whom they claim. It would be nice to have better mouseover explanations of all data points -- some are not intuitive. Also, email address validation (very limited) would be ideal. Update: Lately we've been seeing customers flagged as possible fraud, some with a very high probability score. It can be very difficult trying to figure out why someone is flagged as likely fraud since the explanations in their back end sometimes don't make any sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you for your updated feedback. We have just introduced the Risk Score Reasons Beta for minFraud® Factors customers. Risk score reasons provide users with specific and understandable reasons for why a risk score is high or low. If you’re a Factors customer, you can view risk score reasons on the Transaction Details page. MaxMind minFraud is an excellent fraud detection solution for small businesses! As we operate primarily online, we required something that was affordable and easy to use while taking the guess work out of identifying fraudulent orders. With data metrics for emails, phone numbers, addresses, etc. we can ship our orders confidently. The system easily integrated with our website platform as well as our day to day processes. From time to time, fraud scores can be quite vague as to "why" a mid-level or higher score is being shown. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It keeps bots from spamming our shopping cart for pennies. Setup was easy to integrate with our Miva shopping cart. Seems to be fool proof. Customer support is responsive and knowledgable. It is involved in every transaction, every day, scores the potential buyer's likely hood of payment fraud, and keeps them from completing a sale from our shopping cart. the documentation for integrating minfraud into our product was clear and easy to follow, and we were able to integrate it with minimal changes to the rest of our stack. and the results seem reasonably accurate Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Being able to use Minfraud's built in functionality in addtion to custom rules to decimate the amount of fraud reaching our payment processor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When entering addresses to ban/ reject all transactions on custom rules, I have to enter them twice, once for billing address and once for shipping address. Would want to just fully ban the address for both. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
