I like that Matia solves the problem of not knowing when things failed and why by being very agile and quickly making improvements to connectors. Their support is phenomenal, and they listen to customer requests. The user interface is good, and their processes are really fast and robust. I also appreciate the observability feature, which allows even non-developers to see how models affect dashboard dependencies. It's great that we receive notifications, even to Slack, if anything breaks. Switching from Rivery to Matia due to issues with pipeline robustness and support has been a positive change, as Matia provides more robust pipelines and better observability. There's a limitation where if you have a specific table or report from, say, Aircall, you have to take everything under it instead of being able to just select the main one and a few others. But honestly, that doesn't bother me much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate that Matia enables us to be hands-off and trust our data is coming in accurately, without worrying about technical glitches. I’m excited about the integrated platform features they're building, which include lineage, ETL, catalog, observability, in addition to many more to come. These are amazing capabilities which will enable us to consolidate vendors to Matia and take advantage of even better pricing in aggregate. It’s amazing that Matia offers these at a fraction of the cost of Fivetran. Switching from Fivetran to Matia was simple, just updating connectors was as straightforward as changing columns from _fivetran_deleted to _matia_deleted. What we like most about Matia is the visibility it provides into our data processes and pipelines. It gives us a clear understanding of how data is flowing, which helps a lot with troubleshooting and validation.

At this stage, there is nothing significant to dislike. Since we are still expanding our usage, some advanced features and configurations require learning and iteration, but the team support helps mitigate this very well. Matia makes creating pipelines near effortless. Setting up sources and integrations is streamlined and includes great directions. My absolutely favorite part of working with Matia is their communication! We use Matia for ETL from various data sources to our data warehouse, and we love leveraging their catalog feature, which helps paint a picture of all our data assets.
