**What do you like best about Mate Security?**

I really appreciate how proactive the Mate team is with user engagement. They consistently seek our input on app features, handle feedback constructively, and act on feature requests impressively fast. On top of that, their customer support is always quick and reliable whenever I run into an issue.

**What do you dislike about Mate Security?**

There are a few UX/UI areas that could use some refinement. For example, adding standard keyboard shortcuts like using Shift to bulk-select alerts (similar to email apps) would really improve workflow efficiency. Additionally, rules and cloud alert categorizations could benefit from more flexibility, as some alerts currently need to be split into separate categories, which requires extra manual configuration on our end. That said, I view these as minor areas for enhancement that will make a great platform even better.

**What problems is Mate Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mate has made a huge difference with initial alert triage. Whether it's phishing or CrowdStrike alerts, it gives me immediate context on severity when I'm away from my desk so I know if I need to jump on something right away or if it can wait. It really feels like having a great Tier-1 SOC analyst on the team

  ### 2. Security Context Graph That Cuts Alert Triage from 45 Minutes to Under 5

**What do you like best about Mate Security?**

The Security Context Graph. It eliminates the most time-consuming part of alert triage: rebuilding context from scratch on every single alert. Instead of an analyst manually checking IAM logs, Slack threads, and past tickets for a suspicious login, Mate arrives with that institutional knowledge already assembled: who the user is, what they own, whether this behavior matches their baseline, and what we decided the last three times this fired.
That translates directly into measurable time savings. Investigations that used to take 45 minutes - pivoting between SIEM, EDR, and identity tools, now close in under 5 minutes with full evidence trails. And because the graph learns from every investigation, the platform gets sharper the more we use it. When a senior analyst left last quarter, their investigation logic stayed behind as reusable Gamebooks instead of walking out the door.
The unexpected benefit: it's made our junior analysts perform like seniors. The deterministic guardrails and supervised-mode rollback mean we can extend autonomy safely, knowing Mate can't exceed its blast radius or grade its own homework.

**What do you dislike about Mate Security?**

if i have to look for something to dislike , it is only the documentation could be more comprehensive

**What problems is Mate Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mate is solving three problems that were grinding our SOC down:
1. Alert volume vs. analyst capacity. Like most SOCs, we were drowning: thousands of alerts a week, and we could only realistically investigate a fraction of them. The rest got closed with a cursory glance or aged out. Mate now investigates 100% of the queue, including the informational alerts we used to ignore entirely. The benefit isn't just coverage, it's that real threats stopped hiding in the noise we were triaging away.
2. Knowledge loss and inconsistency. Every investigation used to start from zero. Worse, when experienced analysts left, their expertise left with them - two analysts would often reach different verdicts on identical alerts. Mate's Security Context Graph captures how our best people investigate and makes it reusable. Our junior analysts now close alerts with senior-level depth, and verdicts are consistent across shifts and team members.
3. Stale detections and brittle playbooks. Our SOAR playbooks broke every time a tool's API changed, and detections drifted out of relevance as the environment evolved. Mate's Gamebooks are driven by intent and context rather than hardcoded API calls, and detections continuously tune based on investigation outcomes. We spend far less time on detection engineering maintenance and the coverage actually maps to MITRE instead of being a guess.
The net benefit: MTTR dropped from hours to minutes, the team focuses on genuine threats instead of false-positive triage, and I can finally show leadership concrete ROI with the operational dashboards, instead of 'we closed a lot of tickets.'

  ### 3. Easy to Use with Clear Security Visibility

**What do you like best about Mate Security?**

Mate Security is easy to use and gives us clear visibility into our security posture. I especially like how straightforward the platform is and how quickly we can identify potential issues without spending a lot of time configuring or managing the system

**What do you dislike about Mate Security?**

There is not much to dislike overall. Some of the more advanced features can take a little time to get familiar with, but once you understand the platform, the experience is very smooth.

**What problems is Mate Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mate Security helps us identify and prioritize security risks before they become bigger issues. It gives our team better visibility, reduces manual work, and allows us to focus our time on the threats that actually matter.

  ### 4. Powerful Playbooks and SOC Dashboard, but Documentation and UI Need Polish

**What do you like best about Mate Security?**

Mate Security has helped us create an automated SOC dashboard by integrating with multiple solutions across the organization. The playbook feature is especially impressive and makes the overall workflow feel more streamlined.

**What do you dislike about Mate Security?**

The integration documentation could be more comprehensive, and the UI could be a bit more user-friendly. That said, support has been good so far.

**What problems is Mate Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mate Security has streamlined SOC functions for our organization by integrating with multiple sources and using AI to create comprehensive, easy-to-read dashboards.

**What do you like best about Mate Security?**

Rich Feature Set - Amazing feature set, the features that Mate brings into SOC investigations, providing feedback on procedural workflows, being able to change those investigations with natural language prompts is superior by far to anything we’ve seen.

**What do you dislike about Mate Security?**

Nothing substantial I can think . They are overall doing very good

**What problems is Mate Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not sure
