It is not an atlas or simply a map viewing program. It is for people that need to add information to maps or create new maps. ## Map Maker Reviews ### 1. Providing professional Map and easy uploading the product is nice. 2. Data analytics are easily provided through functional features on this dolution. 3. Layout designing is easy, as well as Map color setting. **What do you dislike about Map Maker?** Easy product with simple initial implementation and myself i had zero issues with this software. **What problems is Map Maker solving and how is that benefiting you?** 1. GIS data management is perfect. 2. Data migration operations. 3. Creating clear custom Maps is dimple. 4. The file uploading is simple. ### 2. Standard shapes and functions can be added to the map and stored as data in excel, SQL, CSV files, and more. The page view helps navigate printing large-size renderings for those of us who have challenges with spatial visualization. Users can begin the process in various methods - with existing photography, imported data, or a scan of a paper map. The final map may consist of multiple layers of files. **What do you dislike about Map Maker?** Mapmaking without existing data can be difficult due to the application's limited capacity. Furthermore, although its application is simple, it is not available on mobile. The live layer of the final map can be accessed through Map Maker or compatible applications. With most government companies using ArcGIS, this limits project continuity for files put together with map maker. Finally, the current map maker manual link is broken, and customer service is difficult to reach via email. **Recommendations to others considering Map Maker:** If you've used other complex systems such as ArcGIS, this is an easy alternative that you can use if there is no universality and or continuity required between map users. **What problems is Map Maker solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used this application for a community service project with low funding to map out areas of indigenous species with warnings of invasive species in Southern California due to its similarity to ArcGIS and comparable affordability and long trial period. I provided the recreational county department with a family-friendly instructional map to exhibit at the ranger station — the ability to add attribute data allowed for the educational component of the project to fit. Due to the needs of the county and the short project period, map maker turned out to be the perfect software to get the job done. In the event of any changes needed, the county may recommend the software to the next intern. ### 3. The program runs as expected and is priced right for an individual hobbies like me. **What problems is Map Maker solving and how is that benefiting you?** Experimenting with GIS. low-cost try before you buy a platform to experiment with GIS. ### 4. I got the hang of it, but being new to this specific software (and to mapping software in general) made it more of a problem than it needed to be. **Recommendations to others considering Map Maker:** Having a background with similar software may help you. Don't be intimidated by its lack of ease—as a novice, it didn't take me too long to get into the swing of things. **What problems is Map Maker solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use this mostly to map areas for stories I'm writing—fiction and all that. It helps me keep track of where I'm going and where I am, etc. ### 5.
