What do you like best about MangoApps?

This platform combines comfortably with my work style, I can make different surveys that are useful for the creation of a new product. MangoApps has a good synchronization with the web, mobile and desktop application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MangoApps?

I would like that when sending a notification MangoApps provide more complete information. Group chat is important, avoid that the application is blocked when it exceeds more than 15K users would make the conversation more fluid and make the platform even more known. What do you like best about MangoApps?

What do you dislike about MangoApps?

There is not much that I dislike on MangoApps, it is a great tool for our business. The only part our staff can find difficult to use is the tasks function and syncing the calendars with Outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MangoApps solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used to use GoogleDrive for all of our file storage. It has been very nice switching over to MangoApps since our consultants can choose which specific files to sync on their computers and which to access via web only. What do you dislike about MangoApps?

The application has had some performance issues in the past but it has finally come to a good point.

Recommendations to others considering MangoApps:

The cloud version is what they will recommend and if you are a small shop or if you don't have restrictions, then go for it.

For us, we had several restrictions so we had to stick to the onpremise version, which is supposed to be the same, however we struggle with some implementation and performance issues.

However, once we had everything in place, it has been fairly easy for those super-users to do the day to day administration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MangoApps solving and how is that benefiting you?

This is the alternative to using SharePoint, and it is a more well rounded and much easier to use and maintain.

Another of the good things is the management of videos. We release monthly videos for all users to watch, and it has been a good balance between easy to use and good bandwidth control (so if many users are watching at once, you will not see much slow down). What do you like best about MangoApps?

There is complete overlap between all facets of the workflow. Visibility to files, tasks, online conversations, etc. is really valuable. The tasks module is really valuable for what I do, but I wish that it had a little more minimal task entry dialog, and the listing/reporting mechanisms are a bit clunky. What do you dislike about MangoApps?

Too many possibilities -- gets to be overwhelming for a lot of users without the proper training. The workflows on a lot of modules are a bit cumbersome and not incredibly intuitive. Things aren't difficult to figure out, but in our world of smart phones where you just touch the screen when you get stuck and it does things for you, there is a lot that could be done to improve the MA interface. I appreciate that the development is open to these ideas and has been actively working to improve the product since we purchased it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering MangoApps:

Develop a clear vision of what you want your intranet to be/do before you adopt MA or any other platform. Consider the less-is-more philosophy. MA has a lot of flexibility and options which is a great feature for your domain, but most of your users want fewer menus and a simplified workflow. Getting employees to buy in and fully adopt a new tool is the most difficult hurdle. You can always roll out more options and more content after you have designed the base/default for your domain. What problems is MangoApps solving and how is that benefiting you?

Using MA for project management. It is bridging the gaps in communication both internally with the design team and with outside consultants. It has also brought more clarity to where project information should be documented. What do you like best about MangoApps?

MangoApps is easy to re-brand and customize to our company needs. Users are quite active with the social media and gamification features on their phones. Many of the desktop/web version features are not available on the phone, which can be confusing. Chat is not as robust as Slack. Pages and posts take slightly longer to load than other apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MangoApps?

Creating and sharing intra-company details such as employee achievements, quizzes, wiki and polls are fun and resourceful elements of MangoApps. Project management features are great. MangoApps can easily document, search and manage cases. Affordable. I love how the interface matches the Facebook look. The questions, polls, surveys and such give us a better understanding of issues and help with team building. The central notification system in MangoApps was very helpful, as it notifies you of everything at one place. It has given me better access over shared documents and better networking feature. What do you dislike about MangoApps?

The mobile side of MangoApps is a bit sluggish. It needs improvement. It would also be appreciated if better emojis were included, that would make the system a little bit less stressful. Tasks can be sorted by unassigned or not started, but no overall not yet finished type sorting to capture all live tasks and a report can't be created from this view only within projects. MangoApps can create a fun and more relaxed workplace with quizzes, polls and wikis. Anything about the company can be shared among the employees. What do you like best about MangoApps?

Be sure to define organization and user goals of implementing MangoApps to stay proactive instead of reactive after go-live. User testing is key here to ensure that MangoApps is adding to the organization's presence rather than feeling like just another thing that people have to use. What do you like best about MangoApps?
