MailPixel Reviews & Product Details

MailPixel is a free email tracking tool that lets users create a hosted tracking pixel in one click, without creating an account. Users copy the generated HTML snippet or pixel URL into an HTML-compatible email, then open a private activity link to view a timestamped timeline of image requests, and pause or delete the pixel at any time. For Gmail users, MailPixel offers a companion Chrome extension, Mail Tracker, that adds tracking directly inside Gmail compose, so no manual HTML insertion is needed. Key features include one-click pixel generation, no registration, a private activity report kept separate from the public image URL, server-side request timestamps, 30-day pixel retention with request caps, and a tested Gmail setup guide. MailPixel is designed for freelancers, sales and recruiting teams, and job seekers who need lightweight follow-up signals. It is transparent about the limits of email tracking: an image request is a signal, not proof that a message was read.
