I've been using Luxand FaceSDK to build our access control system, and it's been great. The facial recognition is really accurate, even in low-light conditions. FaceSDK is an easy to deploy set of samples for multple programming languages. Basically you can just pick up a sample and then build your own software with the face recognition functionality. We also used face cropping function for document processing, it can be applied separately from the main function. The algorithm itself is fast with 0 false positives so far.
