**What do you like best about LinkedIn Groups?**

The ability to add detailed descriptions as well as resources to a LinkedIn Group is very helpful. Also, it is a great platform to share with a broad audience as well as coordinate events with!

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Groups?**

There is not much that I dislike here... possibly the user interface could be a bit more slick. Also, a drawback is that it does have a bit of limitation to folks on LinkedIn.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Groups:**

If you are already pretty active on LinkedIn as well as have a target audience that you know/believe is active on LinkedIn... THEN, it is a no brainer! You need to use this product / feature by LinkedIn to help you better engage with your community & drive more success for your business :)

**What problems is LinkedIn Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 38. Best Way to Develop Community and get Feedback From Your Buyers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam S. | Vice President of Demand Generation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2021

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Groups?**

The ability to curate and moderate member groups to keep the conversation focused and on task. Users generally know what to expect from each group and the value they may expect tog gain by joining.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Groups?**

It is a bit difficult to post to groups & to your broader audience at the same time. I often have content I want to highlight within a specific community and would like my wider audience to see. To do so, I need to post multiple times. This is a minor detail, but I think it would be helpful if you could post to multiple groups at once!

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Groups:**

When using LinkedIn Groups, I recommend users to stay on topic and focus on providing value to other users. Do not use this space to hard sell.

**What problems is LinkedIn Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Critical problem I am solving with LinkedIn Groups is growing community resources with our product. Before LinkedIn Groups, it was much more difficult to curate specific content focused on one community. This was especially difficult for brands with multiple products and services. We can now curate and post content about each of our products and services where they are most relevant.

**Reviewed by:** Regina M. | Account Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2022

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Groups?**

I like the ability to discover new opportunities and have access to other professionals, especially higher ones who will have the answers and guidance through the specific industry you are in.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Groups?**

I dislike not being able to engage/discuss through other professional LinkedIn accounts you might manage for work purposes.

**What problems is LinkedIn Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have discovered that you can find and connect with people you may not have been able to discover so easily otherwise. It is a more condensed way to find specific connections as opposed to searching through the entire website as a whole.

  ### 40. LinkedIn Group for Businesses

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mouath A. | Mechanical Project Engineer , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2021

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Groups?**

LinkedIn Groups are beneficial for cooperates, not for members, since companies share their new projects, news, and rarely job vacancies.
However, we, as ordinary people who are always looking for new opportunities, join groups and find out the companies HR employees and connect with them.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Groups?**

Interaction, discussion, and publishing in groups on Linkedin is very few and is not compared to others such as Facebook; on the contrary, it is rare and unhelpful.
What is worth also mentioning for LinkedIn, I don't like the job vacancies posted without the "Easy Apply" option, where you are forced to be redirected to websites that may scam you.

I am joining now a lot of groups, and maybe I check them once a week or even a month.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Groups:**

If you are interested in specific company news or specific industry?. LinkedIn groups may be very helpful and give you good information.

**What problems is LinkedIn Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okay, Sometimes I join groups containing specific experts in a particular field. That's really helpful, but of course, if group members interact and reply to your questions. Moreover, some groups I really like and find it useful when you join a group with the same work field that you are working in. you can get some ideas, projects, or critical skills that may be helpful in your career and your current company.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Groups?**

There should be a feature if someone/Admin would like to feature a post in the group then that post will be on top of all posts. It will help to keep most important information on the top. The second thing is to prevent spam post sharing in groups.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Groups:**

In Corporate World or for Personal Growth in Services - we all need to do best and being updated with knowledge, skills, tech expert. The best part of LinkedIn Groups is it helps you in 2 ways:

1. In this time where everything is virtual, you are able to interact with people from your industry working in different parts of the world and you can have debates and discussions regarding trending topics in your industry.

2. If you are from the marketing team, like me then you can interact and pitch your solution to your target audience and you would be able to invite them to discovery calls or to events.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Groups?**

Well, the only bad part is, there are times when you find people spamming you directly to your inbox to buy some solutions and at times you will find fake profiles who want to interact with you ask you to fill a form these are mostly spammers trying to loot you.

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Groups?**

There are dedicated groups for almost any Industry and Job function. One of the best platforms to reach out to your niche TG. Also, you can initiate real-time conversations with blogs, polls etc within these groups which can get you more exposure to your brand.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Groups?**

Most of the groups now are filled with spammy sales messages instead of valuable information which in turn had taken a toll on the engagement by group members as well. Even if you can contribute in a meaningful way within these groups, there is little to no engagement.

**Recommendations to others considering LinkedIn Groups:**

If you're a marketing professional trying to catch hold of customers in LinkedIn Groups, please do not reach out to them with Sales messages in the first go. Try to contribute to the group first and then go about it. It is obviously a time-consuming process but once you get the authority the result will follow.

**What problems is LinkedIn Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefit is that you directly get access to your Target group with the LinkedIn Groups. This is especially good when you have to look for leads for your B2B business outside your country. I have been using LinkedIn groups to get access to some of the niche TG for eg: attorneys in the US who otherwise are really hard to catch via online marketing activities.
