## About Lifted ShipKit
Lifted ShipKit is an open-source (MIT), self-hostable multi-carrier shipping toolkit for developers. It buys USPS, UPS, and FedEx shipping labels through EasyPost and adds a drop-in, framework-free checkout widget with forced 3-D Secure card payments, so the card issuer authenticates the buyer before a label prints and fraud and chargeback liability shift off the merchant. Card data stays out of PCI scope via hosted fields. Run it fully self-hosted, on a Lifted Payments 3-D Secure merchant account, or on the fully managed tier.
