Lexis has a large database so makes research time effective. **What do you dislike about LexisOne?** The cost of the tool is at a higher end and only firms can afford it. Search filters have to be introduced. they should introduce an application for the mobile. **What problems is LexisOne solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am using it for legal research and formulating legal opinions. Keeping track of the latest investment law norms internationally. It helps me in drafting purposes as well for the firm. ### 2. You can set up alerts for any status changes. Also, it is very easy to look up bills in your state or federally. **What do you dislike about LexisOne?** It is a step intensive process to set up alerts. I wish that the process was more straightforward. Also, the tracking is hard to set up. I would like to see the bill text and attachment section improved. **What problems is LexisOne solving and how is that benefiting you?** This is helping resolve and help facilitate tracking and monitoring of state and federal legislation. It helps with alerts and tracking making it easy to stay up to date. ### 3. The highlighted search terms and search term map are really helpful for pinpointing portions of a case where the most relevant information will be. And I really like the technological advancements that are continuously being rolled out, like Ravel-view. **What do you dislike about LexisOne?** I think sometimes the user interface can be a little difficult to work with, it isn't as intuitive as other search engines. But I think this is a matter of just getting used to. **What problems is LexisOne solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lexis is an invaluable resource for legal research as well as recent legal news. ### 4. It seems a bit archaic and I think it could be more visually pleasing and modern. The main one is Sheperd's, which is the gold standard for determining whether your case is good law still. Lexis has also made strides with its searchability to make it close to its competition. Finally, lexis provides pincites for some jurisdictions lacking in its competition's libraries, such as Virgin Islands law. **What do you dislike about LexisOne?** Its search is not as strong as the competition. Likewise, sometimes less cases and sources are linked to additional sources and resources on lexis than on the competition's. **Recommendations to others considering LexisOne:** Shop around for your best price. Negotiate and only subscribe to the services you need. **What problems is LexisOne solving and how is that benefiting you?** Legal issues. Most search features are subpar compared to Westlaw.
