Nexis is a research powerhouse, providing access to an extensive and well-curated legal and news database. I have found it to be an indispensable resource for my work as a legal researcher. The ability to quickly find cases, statutes and articles that are relevant to my research is essential, and Nexis delivers on that front. In addition, the user interface is easy to navigate, making it simple for me to find the information I need. Also, Nexis allows you to save articles and bookmark important sections, which comes in handy when I'm doing research for a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a few things I dislike about Nexis. One is that it can be expensive, and your library might not have access to certain databases. Sometimes the search engine is difficult to navigate, and the articles you're looking for can be hidden in different parts of the website. Additionally, I don't like that there's no easy way to save citations or export them into a reference manager like EndNote. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love its scope of functionalities with features such as searching by either normal search terms or by the help of power search where you can utilize the best use of connectors by using boolean searches. It also provides you with a list of explanations on how to use the connectors. You can use filters such as searching an individual/subject or an organization in a particular jurisdiction showing results for news articles and legal information such as court records. For a beginner, it can take some time to understand how exactly Lexis works especially if he doesn't understand filtering out results to expand or shorten the search of booleans. Too many duplicates also fetched from different sources are needed to filter out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
