## About Ledge
Ledge is an agentic AI close management platform that automates the work of the month-end close for finance and accounting teams. It automates key month-end close workflows such as reconciliations, journal entries, working papers, and flux analysis by embedding AI agents directly into the close checklist. Each task opens pre-completed with draft work, supporting documentation, and clear audit trails, allowing accountants to begin with review instead of manual data preparation. Ledge is used by controllers, accountants, and finance leaders who manage the month-end close process and seek to reduce the amount of time spent on repetitive spreadsheet work. The platform connects to major ERPs like NetSuite and other financial data sources to perform continuous reconciliations, generate working papers, journal entries, and flux analysis, and maintain accurate general ledger balances throughout the month. This enables teams to complete the close faster, maintain audit readiness, and access up-to-date financial information without rebuilding schedules manually. Key capabilities include: - Agentic close checklist: Each task opens with work already in progress, with dependencies, approvals, and audit tracking built in. - AI-powered reconciliations: Automated matching of transactions across banks, payment processors, and the ERP, with suggested adjustments for discrepancies. - Automated journal entries: Drafts and posts recurring and exception entries directly into the ERP, with linked supporting documentation. - AI-generated working papers: Created and rolled forward automatically, tied to general ledger balances and source data. - AI-driven flux analysis: Material variances are flagged proactively and draft explanations are generated from ERP and subledger data, linked to underlying transactions. - Continuous accounting: Daily automation of reconciliations, cash application, and journal entries keeps books accurate between closes. Ledge helps finance teams transition from manual, spreadsheet-based processes to an automated and controlled environment. By embedding AI directly into accounting workflows, it provides a centralized system where the work of the close is completed continuously, audit-ready by design, and supported with up-to-date financial visibility.

## Ledge Reviews
  ### 1. One of the most impactful changes we’ve made to our close

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gilad A. | SVP, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Ledge?**

We use Ledge primarily during month-end close, and the agent builder has been the biggest value for us.
The ability to build agents around our own accrual, reconciliation, and posting logic is what made this stick for the team. We’ve set up agents for bank recs, accruals, prepaids, and some recurring journal entries — work that used to be rebuilt manually every month.
By automating the repetitive parts of the close, we cut about five days without changing our review standards. I also like that everything still lives in Excel and NetSuite. That made adoption much easier and means we haven’t given up control or accuracy.
It’s been one of the more impactful changes we’ve made to our close in a while. The team adopted it quickly because it fits into how they already work rather than forcing a new process.

**What do you dislike about Ledge?**

There’s some upfront thinking required to decide what you want to automate and how. Once that’s in place, it’s been straightforward to run month over month.

**What problems is Ledge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduced manual prep work during close and made our process more consistent. The team spends more time reviewing and less time rebuilding the same work every month.

  ### 2. Exceptional Payment Reconciliation and Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avi H. | VP, Financial Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Ledge?**

Ledge has proven to be an excellent tool for reconciling payments from thousands of our customers. Its capability to quickly identify the few exceptions in our cash reconciliation process has increased our confidence in our internal procedures. Additionally, the support team is always very responsive to our needs and ready to assist us whenever necessary. Overall, the platform has been a huge daily time saver.

**What do you dislike about Ledge?**

I have noticed that the monthly general ledger posting process still requires too much manual intervention. Often, the output does not accurately reflect the cash activity in our bank account, which means I have to make frequent manual corrections. However, the team has been excellent in their efforts to address these problems and streamline the process for future periods. Their support continues to help me save time during my month-end close.

**What problems is Ledge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ledge has been instrumental in addressing my daily cash reconciliation needs, and it is also assisting me in streamlining my month-end financial close process.

  ### 3. Real AI Tool beyond Imagination - A Game-Changer for Finance Reconciliations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keval K. | Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Ledge?**

I’ve been using Ledge for my bank reconciliations, and it’s honestly one of the most powerful AI-driven finance tools I’ve come across. It automates tasks that used to take hours — sometimes even days — and does so with incredible accuracy.

What impresses me most is how intelligently it handles complex reconciliation logic and exceptions — things that usually require human judgment. The automation capabilities go beyond anything I imagined possible in this space.

The interface is intuitive, the AI learns and improves over time, and the support team is not only responsive and helpful but they go beyond their responsibilities to help you out. If you deal with reconciliations, finance ops, or accounting workflows, Ledge is a total game-changer.

Highly recommend it to anyone who values efficiency, accuracy, and real smart AI automations

**What do you dislike about Ledge?**

Honestly, there’s very little to dislike. The platform is evolving rapidly, and any small gaps I’ve noticed are usually addressed quickly by the Ledge team. Their responsiveness and willingness to listen to user feedback make the experience even more impressive.

My only “complaint” is that Ledge has set my expectations unrealistically high for every other AI tool out there! It’s that efficient, accurate, and easy to use.

**What problems is Ledge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ledge is solving one of the most time-consuming and error-prone processes in finance — bank reconciliations. Before using it, reconciliations used to take hours of manual matching, validation, and checking across multiple systems. Now, the process is almost fully automated, saving both time and mental bandwidth.

The platform intelligently matches transactions, flags exceptions, and even learns from past actions to improve over time. It eliminates tedious spreadsheet work and reduces the risk of human error significantly.

The biggest benefit for me has been speed, accuracy, and peace of mind — One can focus more on analysis and strategy rather than repetitive tasks. Ledge has completely transformed how I think about reconciliation and financial automation.

  ### 4. Efficient API and Support Make Daily Reconciliation Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie G. | VP of Special Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Ledge?**

The API works great so all team members can know the status of a check without needing to have access to our bank account directly or contact a finance team member to verify if it was cashed or not. The team at ledger is always quick to respond and was very helpful when we got everything set up with our account. The API has been working great and it was easy to get the integration started with them. This software is used daily and makes it much easier to catch reconciliation issues immediately.

**What do you dislike about Ledge?**

It was a little tricky getting started, as some features were less intuitive than others, but the team was always right there to help answer our questions as they came up.

**What problems is Ledge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The API lets all team members view the status of check payments. Ledge also helps us identify if anything reverses or if a transaction does not align with our bank accounts. Our software uses a few different payment methods, so it is great to have 1 software that reconciles our bank account against our portal and payment processing software (stripe).

  ### 5. Effortless financial reconciliation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Ledge?**

Ledge has removed our reliance on outdated, cumbersome Excel spreadsheets previously used to generate month-end journal entries in Xero. Multiple financial feeds are handled with ease.

The excellent support from Danna and the team has been beyond exceptional.

**What do you dislike about Ledge?**

The learning curve is quite steep, and I would say the inner workings of Ledge are somewhat opaque. As someone who likes to have some control over how a platform functions, getting used to handing over control has taken some time.

I believe it's on the roadmap for future implementation, but the inability of Ledge to directly reconcile our bank balances in Xero has been a surprise, especially given the software's technical capabilities.

**What problems is Ledge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping a small team manage a complex business structure

  ### 6. Bank reconciliations are automated more than expected

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prabal S. | Senior Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Ledge?**

Since we started to use ledge most of our bank reconciliation entries have been automated

**What do you dislike about Ledge?**

The operational efficiencies are great, however, we would prefer if the cost was lower.

**What problems is Ledge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time on bank reconciliations
