I love how user friendly it is. I love the different tabs and how easy it is to find exactly what I'm looking for. I also love that the information from the leases is laid out clearly. The map is super helpful as we have locations across the United States. The price is great for all of the features. I like how easy Leasecake makes it to work with leases, especially for a business like mine with more than 38 leases. I’m able to run ASC 842 reports, create vendor contacts, and track rent schedules and escalations in a way that’s clear and easy to view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to search through lease documents for specific phrases has been huge...the addition of AI to assist with summaries and searches is also key. The ability to sort all leases by renewal notification date and create a report would be something useful for me. It is likely already possible, but I am unfamiliar with how to complete the task. I like the user-friendly interface and that I can access it from an app on my phone. It's great to have all of the info in one place. The GUI is easy on the eyes and intuitive to use. CakeBot could be more sophisticated. The process of posing questions takes multiple steps, and often, you might not get the answer you are seeking. Running reports could be easier and more intuitive. For a software made for large commercial real estate companies, these features should be more sophisticated. I'm not that impressed with the first generation of these features. I am hoping that future upgrades will make it a more helpful product. Leasecake was difficult and time-consuming to set up. The implementation took 1-2 months, and we had to do more work on our end than anticipated. Despite paying for premium service, we had to do manual entries, such as adding all of our contacts. The UI needs a bit of improvement. While the AI provides suggestions, we’re not allowed to copy and paste them directly, which makes the workflow less convenient. Also, the dashboard should show only my client-related information. Even though I’m an admin, I should have a different dashboard that’s tailored to the admin role. Pulling a report to excel format for reporting purposes was a bit more complicated than I would expect, but once you figure it out it's not too bad. I use Leasecake to keep a record of my leases, rent, rent increases, reminders, insurance, and important documents for each property and tenant. It keeps me on track with all rent increases. The new chatbot is awesome because I don't have to go through the whole lease to find something; I can just ask the chatbot to do it for me. I really like its constant reminders and organization. When entering dates in any part of the platform, it does not recognize a digit-only entry and you must enter "/" between the two digit date, month and four digit year. Downloaded lease abstracts only include a "Use" for the entire building rather than an individual Tenant Use, which would be more applicable to a Landlord's needs in a multi-tenant building.
