## About Lead Source

## Lead Source Reviews
  ### 1. Clear lead sources thanks to Lead Source – make better decisions for the marketing budget

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike T. | CEO and Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Lead Source?**

I like that Lead Source shows me where all our leads come from. I can clearly see which ones are generated through referrals, which ones come through our website, and which ones originate from the ads we run. Especially in the construction industry, referrals are extremely important, and previously I didn't have the numbers to really prove that. Now I see it clearly and can understand it. This has changed my perspective on how we use our marketing budget with Lead Source.

**What do you dislike about Lead Source?**

The notifications I receive from Lead Source arrive via email without any issues. However, I wish I could also receive a daily summary of everything that has happened via SMS. This way, I wouldn't have to constantly check my email inbox. I am mostly on construction sites during the day, and email is not always the best way to reach me when I use Lead Source.

**What problems is Lead Source solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lead Source helps us solve the problem of truly finding out where our orders actually come from. Before we used Lead Source, we simply assumed that recommendations were the main reason for new orders because it just felt that way. Now, with Lead Source, we know for sure and have subsequently changed some decisions on how we use our advertising budget – based on what the numbers in Lead Source actually show us. As a result, our marketing budget goes further, and we can use it more effectively – thanks to Lead Source.

  ### 2. Clear Lead Attribution and Quick Setup for Multi-Client Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick M. | Sales Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Lead Source?**

Our team handles leads for several clients at once, so knowing exactly where each lead came from has been huge. We used to argue internally about which campaigns were actually working. Now the data is right there, so those conversations are a lot shorter. Setup was also quick we didn't need to pull in a developer to get it running.

**What do you dislike about Lead Source?**

One thing I do not like about Lead Source is that it is not very flexible when it comes to grouping and reporting on leads for clients. Now it seems like it is a one-size-fits-all kind of thing. Since each client wants their reports to look different I have to do a lot of extra work to make the numbers look good for each one.

**What problems is Lead Source solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved our attribution problem. Before, we'd tell clients "this channel is working" based on gut feel more than hard data. Now we can show them real numbers, which has made renewal conversations a lot easier. Our sales team also follows up faster since we get notified the moment a lead comes in, and that's translated into a noticeably better close rate.

  ### 3. Clean Lead Attribution That Makes Ad Budget Decisions Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin Z. | Real Estate Broker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Lead Source?**

Knowing exactly where a lead actually came from. I run Zillow, Facebook ads, and my own website at the same time, and before this I was basically guessing which one was worth the money. Now I can see clean attribution per lead, so when it's time to decide where to put my ad budget next month, I'm not relying on a gut feeling.

**What do you dislike about Lead Source?**

There's no real mobile app. I'm rarely at a desk I'm at showings, in the car, meeting clients. Checking lead activity means pulling up a browser on my phone, which isn't great when I need something quick between appointments. A proper mobile app would make this a lot more usable for how I actually work.

**What problems is Lead Source solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It stopped the budget guesswork. I used to just split spend evenly across channels because I had no proof one was outperforming another. Now I can see which source actually converts into real clients, not just clicks, and shift budget there. That's directly improved my cost per closed deal.

  ### 4. Lead Source Centralizes Lead Tracking Across All Our Campaigns

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rupert O. | Director of Digital Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Lead Source?**

Managing marketing across brokerage this size means a lot of agents, a lot of campaigns, and a lot of noise. Lead Source gives me one place to see what's actually generating leads across all of it, instead of pulling reports from five different platforms and trying to stitch them together myself.

**What do you dislike about Lead Source?**

With this many agents using the system, I'd like better controls over permissions, like letting agents see their own leads without giving them visibility into everyone else's data. Right now it feels a bit more open than I'd prefer for a team this size.

**What problems is Lead Source solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It cut down the time I used to spend building reports manually every week. Now I can pull real attribution data quickly and show leadership which channels are actually worth the investment. That's freed up time for me to focus on strategy instead of just compiling numbers.

  ### 5. Clear Lead Tracking and Easy Reporting That Saves Us Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melinda M. | Executive Support Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Lead Source?**

Lead Source gives me a clear view of where every lead comes from, which is a big deal for our financial services team. The dashboard is straightforward and easy to use, so I can pull reports for our leaders without needing help from IT. The automatic tracking also saves me a lot of time each week compared to the way we used to manage everything in spreadsheets.

**What do you dislike about Lead Source?**

It takes some time to learn how to use certain features in Lead Source. It took me a few tries to figure out how to customize the LeadPath journey mapping. I also wish there were reporting templates specific to financial services, because I often end up building reports from scratch.

**What problems is Lead Source solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started using Lead Source, we couldn’t tell which marketing campaigns were actually working and bringing in leads, which made it difficult to decide where to spend our budget. Now I can clearly show which websites and pages are leading to sales, and that helps our team make better decisions about where to invest.

The lead enrichment data also helps our sales team approach people in a more personal way, which leads to more sales and fewer wasted follow-ups. Overall, Lead Source has really helped us understand our leads better and make the most of them.

  ### 6. Instant Speed-to-Lead Alerts That Help Us Respond Faster

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua M. | Founder and CEO, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Lead Source?**

The speed-to-lead alerts. Leads used to sit in our inbox for hours before anyone followed up. Now we get notified the second a form is submitted, with the lead's journey already attached. We respond faster, and a couple of clients have noticed the difference without us even pointing it out.

**What do you dislike about Lead Source?**

Reporting and exports need work. I want clean, exportable reports I can drop straight into a client deck. Right now I export what's there and reformat it myself reporting cycle. Manageable, but annoying across multiple client accounts.

**What problems is Lead Source solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It ended the attribution guessing game. One client was convinced their SEO spend wasn't working the real source data proved otherwise in minutes. Faster lead response has also helped client retention. We're now showing outcomes tied to actual leads, not jsut dashboard metrics.

  ### 7. Clear Attribution and Campaign Visibility That Boosts Optimization Confidence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre B. | senior manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Lead Source?**

What stood out most about Lead Source was its ability to connect marketing activity directly to meaningful outcomes, giving our team clearer attribution data, stronger visibility into campaign performance, and more confidence when optimizing outreach and engagement strategies.

**What do you dislike about Lead Source?**

One area that could be enhanced is the depth of advanced reporting and integration flexibility for organizations managing large-scale multi-channel campaigns and complex stakeholder engagement workflows.

**What problems is Lead Source solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Lead Source, it was difficult to clearly connect lead activity and form submissions back to the campaigns that were producing the strongest results. The platform gave us much better visibility into which ads, pages, and outreach efforts were contributing to real engagement and business opportunities rather than just traffic metrics. This allowed our team to make more confident marketing decisions and allocate resources more effectively.

  ### 8. Accurate Revenue Attribution That Clarifies What’s Driving Real Results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben S. | mechanical engineer, Automotive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Lead Source?**

What we appreciated most about Lead Source was its ability to provide accurate revenue-focused attribution, eliminate guesswork around campaign performance, and give our team clearer visibility into which marketing initiatives were actually driving valuable engagement, partnerships, and membership opportunities.

**What do you dislike about Lead Source?**

One area where Lead Source could improve is by offering deeper customization and integrations for more complex CRM and reporting workflows, particularly for organizations managing multiple campaigns, partnerships, and stakeholder groups across different initiatives

**What problems is Lead Source solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lead Source has been a highly valuable tool for improving marketing visibility and attribution across our campaigns at Canada Makes. As an organization focused on connecting manufacturers, technology providers, research institutions, and industry leaders across Canada, understanding which marketing efforts actually drive meaningful engagement and membership interest is extremely important.
