What I like most is how extensible and robust the LV SDK is. Being able to use Groovy for more complex calculations, along with the REST API for custom integrations with our Java backend, lets us tailor the LIMS to very specific laboratory workflows. Overall, it’s a powerful platform for developers who need to bridge the gap between standard LIMS functionality and custom automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the platform is powerful, debugging Groovy scripts and custom Java code can be cumbersome. The repeated cycle of deploying changes and then testing them inside the LIMS environment often feels slower than what I’m used to in modern web development workflows, and that can reduce development velocity when working on more complex customizations.
