"Intuitive Headless CMS That’s Easy to Learn and Use"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Kontent.ai?

It is very intuitive and brings a REAL headless-CMS solutions to teams & companies. It is so easy to use, learn, and configure - and the day-to-day use is smooth and, personally, I've NEVER presented a load, caché or similar problem using the app, which I appreciate a lot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kontent.ai?

The main problem I've found while using K.AI is that it may be limited in the content editing, and sometimes the nested components and the fact that everything is a component-within-a-component creates some chaos when trying to edit very specific items Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive interface & structured content which streamlines daily work in Kontent.AI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Kontent.ai?

As a marketing & communication advisor at VU Amsterdam, Kontent.AI has genuinely made my work easier. What I value most is how intuitive it is: I can onboard (new) colleagues quickly, even those who don't work with a CMS every day.

The biggest improvement in my workflow is the structured content model. When updating something in one place, Kontent.AI automatically pushes that change to every page where the component is used. This saves time, prevents inconsistencies and keeps the website way more manageable than before.

Instead of hunting through different sections of the site, I now have a clear overview of where content is saved and how it connects with pages. It lets me focus on the message rather than technics. So for me, Kontent.AI has turned content management into a streamlined part of my daily work routine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kontent.ai?

Not being able to add small HTML adjustments can feel limiting. Though that could be a setting by the administrators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Maintain CMS with Straightforward Modeling and Well-Documented APIs"
4/5
What do you like best about Kontent.ai?

It has been an easy CMS to maintain and develop in. The content modeling is simple and straight forward. The APIs are documented very well and easy to integrate with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kontent.ai?

Asset management. I know a lot of companies use other third party asset libraries, but we don't currently have the budget for that and we really don't need all the bells and whistles. A bit more flexibility with assets though, like being able to add some metadata that isn't a taxonomy, which doesn't work for everything would be nice. We've had to resort to using the description field to house some of the metadata we want to attach to our photos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Kontent.ai’s Clean, Intuitive UI Makes Content Creation Seamless"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Kontent.ai?

My favorite thing about Kontent.ai is how genuinely user‑friendly it is. The interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate, which makes content creation feel seamless rather than overwhelming. The task assignment feature is especially helpful — I can assign specific components or entire content items to teammates, track progress, and keep workflows organized without needing separate project‑management tools. What do you dislike about Kontent.ai?

One downside of Kontent.ai for a food company is the ingredients integration workflow. Now that we’ve uploaded thousands of products and recipes, the platform can feel overwhelming to navigate at times. When I create a new recipe for the site, I have to add a new ingredient entry every single time — even if that ingredient already exists in the system. This is usually because each recipe requires a different cut, size, or measurement, and there isn’t a universal dropdown or a flexible way to reuse existing ingredient variations. As our library grows, this becomes increasingly time‑consuming and makes ingredient management more complex than it needs to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kontent.ai?

Ensure a smooth transition and improve the CMS experience across both the development environment and the live site, providing end users with a consistent and seamless experience.

Keep the interface simple and intuitive, with a lightweight architecture that delivers fast performance and a responsive user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kontent.ai?

It would be helpful if editors could click and drag to select a range of items. Currently, they can only select items individually or use "Select All" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Platform with Room for Organizational Enhancements"
4/5
What do you like best about Kontent.ai?

I like that Kontent.ai is intuitive and easy to use, as long as the company has maintained and set it up the right way, it's simple to configure. Everything is gathered in one place, which is helpful for managing different apps from development to production environments on one site. Runtime configuration is valuable to me because it allows app changes without needing to create new builds. I appreciate the ability to change strings and images on content pages, which is great because we can quickly update text or images for things like vouchers. I also thought that working with Kontent.ai within a large company was very good and easy, especially since we manage multiple apps across different countries using it. What do you dislike about Kontent.ai?

I think we need to find a way to gather everything up that's duplicates of each other or all drafts in one place and then be able to filter and take out the things that are not relevant anymore. If we could filter them by completeness, that would help; it would be great to remove duplicates more efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Content Modelling and Smooth Language Fallback"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Kontent.ai?

What stands out most for me is the flexibility of the content model. We use it as a headless CMS to power two separate websites, and the ability to design content types that match our exact needs makes a real difference. One feature I especially appreciate is language fallback. When a translation isn’t available, Kontent.ai automatically falls back to the preconfigured fallback language, which keeps the editorial workflow smooth and avoids the need to create duplicate content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kontent.ai?

The content modelling flexibility is excellent, but the field configuration options lack depth. For example, you can’t define a field’s output data type: a single-select (radio) element still comes through as an array which pushes type handling into your own codebase. Calculated or derived fields are also missing. While they’re technically achievable, it’s only by building and hosting your own data-processing layer outside the CMS. For teams trying to keep their tech stack lean, these gaps feel like areas the platform itself should cover. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Content Management with Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Kontent.ai?

I use Kontent.ai primarily for managing and publishing content for the Omni platform. Kontent.ai helps solve several challenges in managing content efficiently for the Omni Platform, mainly consistency across large volumes of content. With its structured content model, it ensures that content is organized and reusable, which reduces duplication and errors. I can manage everything in one place, from editing content to publishing updates. It allows different teams to work together more effectively, review updates, and ensure accuracy before publishing. I like the support they provide; the team is responsive and helpful whenever we run into issues or have questions. The combination of strong support, structured content, and smooth workflows makes it a very effective tool for managing content. The initial setup of Kontent.ai was fairly straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kontent.ai?

One feature that would be really helpful is a recycle bin or a recovery option for deleted content, so items can be easily restored if something is removed by mistake. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Page Editing and Fast Support Chat"
4/5
What do you like best about Kontent.ai?

The ease with which you can create and edit your web pages. The support chat within the CMS is also very useful; replies are very fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kontent.ai?

Kontent.ai seems to be designed for smaller businesses that have a more streamlined and clear publication schedule and workflow. For larger businesses with greater user bases, no editorial calendar, and (much) more content, the CMS is lacking some additional options for filtering and overviews to manage and control users and content. Moreover, development is mainly focused on AI, instead of on the basic CMS features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
