## About Knownly
Knownly is a website visitor identification tool built for small and mid-sized B2B companies that want to know which companies are researching their website. Most visitor identification and sales intelligence tools are priced and built for large sales organizations. Knownly is designed for teams of roughly 10 to 200 employees who want a straightforward answer to who is visiting their site, without a long setup process or a new platform to learn. The product works by matching anonymous website traffic to real companies. After a single JavaScript snippet is added to a website, every page view is checked against IP intelligence data. Knownly filters out traffic from consumer internet providers, hosting and cloud providers, VPNs, proxies, and known bots, so what remains is genuine business traffic. Knownly identifies companies only, never individual visitors. No cookies, fingerprinting, or browser storage are used in the process. Identified companies appear on a dashboard showing visit trends over time, the countries visitors are coming from, and the most active companies from the past week. Each company is assigned an intent score from 0 to 100 based on recency, how many pages they viewed, how often they returned, and how much of the site they explored, grouped into Hot, Warm, and Cool bands so marketing and sales teams can prioritize follow-up. A dedicated company detail page shows a session timeline, first seen and last seen dates, and firmographic details like domain, country, city, and network. The companies database is fully searchable and filterable by name, country, intent band, and status, with CSV export for teams that want to bring the data into a CRM or spreadsheet. This makes Knownly useful for account-based marketing, sales prioritization, and measuring which campaigns or content are actually generating interest from real target accounts, rather than anonymous traffic numbers. Knownly is a Swiss company and takes a privacy-conscious approach: it identifies the company behind a visit, never the person, and does not rely on cookies or fingerprinting to do so.
