They also helped us gain further insight into some of the misconfigurations found and helped us solve a few of the issues that the config scans found. **What do you dislike about Kloudle?** There were no downsides at all. Their service met all our needs. **What problems is Kloudle solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were looking for a cloud configuration assessment service for our servers at Digital Ocean. Exhaustive list of testcases/checks which are updated pretty often helps me to stay updated on different issues **What do you dislike about Kloudle?** 1. Initially there were few problems regarding the user experience of the dashboard, but I can see the team is fixing it in their recent updates 2. Would love some more resources on some of the misconfigurations/checks which are done so that it becomes easier for us to fix them easily 3. Although we have been seeing a lot of improvement, but I expect much better and cleaner interfaces **What problems is Kloudle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Appknox is the world's most powerful plug-and-play mobile security platform. While we provide security services to our customers, we should also take our security seriously. Kloudle solves our cloud Infrastructure related security headache, while we take care of scaling our infrastructure to fuel hypergrowth. ### 5. Reassurance that we are not doing anything wrong in our DO configuration. 2. Confidence that we now have a warning system in case we introduce a security issue in our existing systems or in any new systems we add. 3. I do not have access to our Digital ocean account, but the fact that I now have visibility into the number of droplets we run is helpful for me. 4. The information that is most relevant to me is presented right away in the landing page, instead of 100 nice looking but not so useful graphs :D **What do you dislike about Kloudle?** 1. When we started, there were a few bugs that were ironed out 2. One thing I think would add value would be if you can also show the checks we have passed. You currently show that we failed two medium-level checks. As a user, I do not know how exhaustive your checklist is and I do not know what is not being checked. Showing that will be even more reassuring. 3. Some of the terms used in the product are abstract. For example, 'snapshot' makes less sense to me, 'scan' might be more appropriate. **What problems is Kloudle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our product, Domdog, provides continuous security monitoring to our customer's client-side web infrastructure to give complete visibility into the most significant security threats affecting the client-side today. So we understand the value of having a system that constantly monitors a section of our digital infrastructure and alerts us on security issues that need evaluation and action. We use secure coding practices and proper server hardening procedures. The blind spot in our security process was our Cloud environment. Kloudle addresses this issue exactly for us. We make changes to our cloud configurations regularly, so the continuous monitoring approach of Kloudle reassures us that we have not introduced a security issue in a recent change. When a misconfiguration is introduced, Kloudle points to the exact issue, similar to SAST or DAST tools that the team is already familiar with. And also provides specific mitigation advice. ### 6. We tried out Kloudle based on a recommendation and found it made our life very easy Easy self serve model, clean interface, intuitive buttons and links Adding cloud accounts is very easy Gives me a picture of my overall state of cloud security on the dashboard itself with the security score Misconfigurations have technical details given as well as information about risk and business impact if exploited Easy to use: clear instructions to add a new cloud provider including video tutorial in the page itself - no additional help doc required **What do you dislike about Kloudle?** Not a lot, it does what we need. Doesn't work with Azure yet though. I can see features are being updated regularly. Filtering and navigation could do with some upgrades but is being addressed and should be released soon. Notifications need to be enabled manually at this time, but this could be enabled by default **What problems is Kloudle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Kloudle is perfect if you are a start-up or even an enterprise company but would prefer to use SRE on more useful tasks and delegate cloud monitoring. It gives me a view of all my cloud assets across multiple clouds in the same place. I'm spending less time doing weekly or monthly audits for our infrastructure, I can focus on other management tasks The gamification of the security score ensures SREs can fix any detected misconfigs Bonus is that it gives me an idea of what compliance checks I need to fix/meet ### 7. Very extensive library of common misconfiguration. 4. They also have Google Cloud CIS benchmarks. It helps us be compliant with Google's security recommendations. **What do you dislike about Kloudle?** Not much to complain about. But I think Kloudle can improve on the following. 1. The impact of mitigations provided is missing as Kloudle is unaware of our tech stack. 2. The interface is a bit slow to my liking. They have become easier to use over time, though. **What problems is Kloudle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Kloudle helps us fix vulnerabilities before a malicious actor can exploit them. Eg "SSH port not allowed" - I wanted to mute it specifically for precisely one instance, which is my SSH bastion host. **What problems is Kloudle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Kloudle helps us secure our AWS Cloud without needing a security team. It would be great if they also provided an option to automatically fix the vulnerabilities. **What problems is Kloudle solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use multiple platforms for managing my source codes and deployment. These platforms keep evolving continuously. It is very difficult to keep track of the infra security. Kloudle gives me an overview of the infra vulnerabilities in a single dashboard.
