"Strong AI Agent Security, but Ecosystem and Diagnostics Still Maturing"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Keycard?

What I like best about Keycard is how easily it solves the security headache for AI agents—instead of handing out broad, long-lived API keys, it gives you short-lived, task-scoped credentials so you can control exact permissions without building your own complex authorization setup from scratch. It keeps identity management simple and secure without getting in the way of development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keycard?

What I dislike about Keycard is that since it's a newer tool, the ecosystem and community documentation can feel a bit thin. Integration options across every SDK or framework aren't fully mature yet, and troubleshooting policy setup or authorization failures sometimes requires digging through separate logs instead of getting clear, immediate diagnostic errors. "Keycard Keeps Our AI Agents Secure with Clear Access Control and Audit Trails"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Keycard?

We have rolled out several AI Agents to help us automate and streamline our customer's products delivery operations and we brought in Keycard to help us gain better control of these AI Agents by managing their access and authorizations. Keycard helps us to ensure that all our AI Agents are operating within our data security policies and regulations by making it easy to for us to verify their data access requests before authorizing them. It also provides us with clear audit trail reports which allows us to understand which AI Agents had access to which data and who made the authorization. With Keycard, we are able to ensure that all our AI Agents are working securely and under our control without putting any of our data or those of our customers at any security risks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keycard?

We have been working with Keycard for several months now and we are yet to see any issues with its performance. It has been a very reliable and user-friendly product to work with and it has met our AI Agents access control and authorization needs without giving us anything to dislike about it. "Easy Access Management and a Good solution for managing access"
4/5
What do you like best about Keycard?

I like how easy Keycard is to use and how it simplifies access management. It makes access workflows more organized and convenient, and the straightforward interface helps my team manage access while keeping the workflow smooth. I can manage permissions and privileges, control who can access different resources, and reduce repetitive manual tasks. It also gives me better visibility and control over access, helps save time, and makes the process more efficient. The initial setup was very easy, and the platform integration was simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keycard?

As a first-time user, I find some features take a while to understand. I’d like more customization options, clearer documentation, and more detailed reporting to make things easier for new users. Integrations with other tools could be improved, and simplifying some workflows could reduce manual effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keycard Solves AI Agent Privileges with Short-Lived, Task-Scoped Credentials"
4/5
What do you like best about Keycard?

What I like best about Keycard is how it solves the privilege problem for AI agents. Instead of handing agents broad, static API keys or blanket permissions, it issues short-lived, task-scoped credentials on the fly. It lets you give agents the exact access they need for a single action—and nothing more—so you can run autonomous workflows without risking broad security leaks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keycard?

What I dislike most about Keycard is the extra administrative overhead it introduces. Defining granular scope policies and setting up dynamic credential flows for every single agent workflow takes real up-front time and maintenance, which can feel like a bottleneck when you just want to spin up a quick, simple automation. "Simple, Clean Interface with Flexible MCP Keycard Actions"
4/5
What do you like best about Keycard?

The Just in Time authentication is the highlight for me. I used my AI coding tool AntiGravity to configure this quickly using MCP. The interface and overall configuration feel simple and clean. Being able to use MCP to leverage the Keycard actions is truly game-changing and great integration option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keycard?

The only issue I would point out is the latency in an enterprise environment, since it acts like middleware. Also, dynamic tokens may not be supported across all Vibe coding platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Securing our autonomous Python agents with dynamic temporary credentials"
4/5
What do you like best about Keycard?

Giving autonomous scripts access to production data used to keep our security team awake at night. On our internal SharePoint and Qchex integrations, we run Python agents powered by Claude and MCP that fetch consultant documents and update backend records. Handing those AI tools static API keys or broad database credentials was a massive compliance risk because they could theoretically pull restricted files. Keycard completely overhauled our approach by introducing runtime authorization for machine identities. Whenever our MCP agent requests access to a restricted SharePoint folder, the SDK evaluates the request context and issues a temporary token strictly scoped to that single task. Because policies are written cleanly in Cedar and deployed via Terraform alongside our Microsoft Azure infrastructure, I can guarantee that an agent acting on behalf of a user strictly inherits only that specific user permission level without any privilege escalation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keycard?

Writing precise authorization policies requires a strict understanding of the Cedar language before you can confidently deploy them. When I first started mapping out edge cases for our delegated OAuth tokens, debugging why a valid Python request was being denied took some digging through the audit logs. If an agent attempts a complex reasoning task that spans across GitHub and internal Microsoft Azure endpoints, you have to be incredibly explicit about the allowed scopes beforehand. I would appreciate having more visual simulation tools in their web console to test policy rules before pushing them into our automated CI/CD pipelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Convenient Access with Room to Improve Integrations"
4/5
What do you like best about Keycard?

I like that Keycard simplifies authentication while maintaining security. It makes accessing the resources I need more convenient and reduces the hassle of managing or remembering multiple passwords. I also value its ease of use and secure access management, which give me better control over access, help minimize security risks and authentication friction, and make my everyday workflows smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keycard?

I’d like Keycard to work with a wider range of applications and third-party tools, with deeper integrations for Slack, Jira, and Google Workspace. The basic setup was straightforward, but connecting existing tools and understanding the security settings took extra time. Clearer setup instructions for new users would help, and I’d like more detailed information about security settings and password troubleshooting for authentication issues. "Keycard Streamlines Access Management with an Intuitive, Time-Saving Dashboard"
4/5
What do you like best about Keycard?

Keycard makes it easy to manage access permissions throughout our workflow. The UI is clean and the dashboard is intuitive, so onboarding is quick, and it integrates smoothly with our existing stack. It saves us valuable time each week by automating what used to be manual security checks, without adding lag or making basic operations feel more complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keycard?

The initial setup and configuration can be a bit tricky, and the reporting tools feel somewhat limited when I’m trying to pull more detailed usage analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless, Zero-Friction Access That Just Works"
4/5
What do you like best about Keycard?

What I love most is how seamless it makes access. You don't have to fumble for physical keys or pull out your phone to open an app—it just works instantly. That fast, effortless feeling of unlocking a door with zero friction is easily the best part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keycard?

Honestly, it's that subtle panic when your phone or card's battery dies and you realize you're completely locked out. Relying so heavily on technology means when it glitches or loses connection, a simple task becomes a major headache. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear Access Controls, Though Security Terms Take Getting Used To"
4/5
What do you like best about Keycard?

I like that Keycard makes something technical feel more manageable, without requiring a steep learning curve just to understand how things work. Its access controls and permission management let me see and manage which systems or applications can access certain resources, rather than having everything handled in the background with little visibility. Keycard also makes access management more structured and easier to handle, and the initial setup was straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keycard?

I think Keycard could be a little more approachable for users without a strong technical or security background. Some of the terminology and configuration options take a bit of getting used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
