## About Kept Record
Kept Record is an automated accessibility scanner for online shops and the agencies that build them. Each week a real Chromium browser loads every page, waits for it to settle, and measures it with axe-core against WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA. Every defect is recorded with the element it is on, what was measured, and the failing markup exactly as it appeared. Later scans are compared with that record: a defect that stops being detected is marked as no longer detected, never as resolved, because a scanner not seeing a problem is not proof it is gone. Readings taken while an element was animating are flagged as needing confirmation and are never counted as settled. The product installs nothing on the site and changes no page; it measures and keeps evidence. A monthly PDF report summarises the record for a site owner or a client. Automated scanning detects a subset of accessibility problems and is not a legal assessment.
