It got plenty of tools that we can work with, And I really liked that it changed its color according to the theme. This is the ultimate text editor for Linux, and it is also available for Windows and macOS. It supports multiple tabs, We can also change the keyboard shortcuts for our needs. The bookmark option is very useful when I have to remember a particular line from a large text, I can just use Ctrl+B to bookmark a line, and I will be able to see it after on the bookmark menu. Kate is a very advanced text editor, It has lots of customization options, the split view option is very good and I really like it, and whenever I type something on the Kate Text Editor, I can just enlarge the fonts by using the mouse wheel and Ctrl which is very handy. kate also let us customize the keyboard shortcuts which is a very impressive customization option. It's a nice text editor in wich you can easily write code just like in others famous options like Sublime. It gets the job done without any problem, what i like most about this tool is the support of plugins, the bookmarks, the tweaks options and how we can split the window to work better. When you're coding you can't deny that it's a good tool, but with a little of improvement it could make easier get the job done. For example, we need more shortcuts to avoid stoppings during work, also would be nice more customization options.
