## About K-MINE
K-MINE is mine planning and geological modeling software for open-pit and underground operations. The platform combines geology, resource estimation, mine design, production scheduling, drill and blast, and surveying in one integrated environment — so mining engineers and geologists work from the same data without file conversions between departments. Built for mid-size mining operations looking for full-cycle mine planning capabilities without enterprise pricing. Block modeling supports Kriging, IDW, and implicit modeling methods. Mine design tools cover pit optimization, haul roads, stope design, decline planning, and ventilation networks.

**What do you like best about K-MINE?**

The pit optimization module worked well for our copper exploration project. Easy to set up economic parameters, run multiple price scenarios, and compare nested shells. Slope constraints by sector handled our deposit geometry without issues. Block model import from CSV was straightforward. Also liked that support team responded quickly when I had questions about recovery and cutoff settings.

**What do you dislike about K-MINE?**

Interface takes time to learn if you're coming from other software like Whittle or Surpac. Some menu structures are different from what I was used to. Not a major issue, just need a few days to get comfortable.

**What problems is K-MINE solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to run preliminary pit optimization for a copper exploration project in Mongolia - testing different copper price assumptions and generating pushback sequences for early-stage mine planning. K-MINE let us do this without buying expensive enterprise software. Got reliable results that matched our block model economics.
