I typically use Jasper when I’m looking for something to kickstart an ad copy, social post, landing page copy or brainstorming different headline options. It's beneficial if you have an idea of what you’re going for with your campaign, but don’t want to sit there and stare at a blank page for hours. The Jasper tool works really well when you need to output lots of content in a short amount of time. My favorite feature is probably Brand Voice since once you get that dialed in you don’t have to explain your desired tone and style with every prompt. I really like the customization capabilities of Jasper. You can add depth to your voice, your editorial guidelines, etc. For a customization standpoint, it's great.

This is where it falls flat for me, and it's not getting better.

1. It doesn't listen to the brand voice or style guidelines. I specially stated to avoid things like the em dash, but it continues to give it to me.

2. The execution varies wildly. Writing an article? Fantastic with zero complaints. Writing a LinkedIn post? HORRIBLE. Even worse is that sometimes it returns a completely blank page. As much time as it's saved, it's tripled my time in other ways.

3. There is no automatic receipt/invoice for payments. This is what's putting me on the fence for cancelling. In 2026, why isn't this automated? I am the only account holder, and I am the person paying. I WANT the invoices to be sent to me, and their team said that they would manually send it to me. That's yet to happen. I like the custom brand voice roles in Jasper. I can upload our style guide and top-performing articles so the AI copy actually sounds like our brand, which saves me hours of rewriting. I was using this for basic copywriting, social media posts and sometimes when I'm looking for fast writing idea. It's super easy to use and generates content quickly.
