The use of the IP encryption system is a system that is implemented in most companies, Connect Secure is a system that for us is a total change of life that has allowed me to improve the way in which we can publicize our services without worrying about a type of information theft since the IP encryption system we can use where we want to enter any type of page and improve web browsing, without the need to lose information. I have problems with the Connect Secure system, sometimes it can decrease the original speed of the Internet system, that is why the networks must be optimized to offer a better service when using the system and not miss the opportunity, to navigate calmly in the Web. Recommendations to others considering Ivanti Connect Secure: I recommend the service because it works, however they are points that can be improved on more servers, higher speed in service so far, it works in the sense that you can surf safely, it is their main operation, for this reason I recommend it. Correctly, it has offered us solutions because we have been able to navigate much more securely without the problem of losing information, all this solved with a single Connect Secure system. Navigation is much more secure. We can navigate without any type of problem. The time to navigate with an IP encryption is more visible since it is easier to enter pages or send documents. Allows us to connect to the vpn network in a stable and secure way. It offers us to deny any type of access to unwanted users outside the company, its interface is totally secure and blocks false requests. This platform is a wonder. In addition to the fact that its platform is attractive and has simple tools with stable and different servers with connection to countries and faster speed, browsing is much safer. Since our company has many employees, we were forced to buy several licenses for its optimal operation, since it was denied access by the maximum number of users. It allowed us to configure our different vpn in a very easy way thanks to its interface, as many employees are working remotely they can access our VPN and it makes their work more fluid and smooth. The variety of 2-factor authentication options allow for increased security while also being flexible with emailed codes, texted codes, or using a mobile authenticator. Pulse secure keeps updating and getting better, pluse they use a really nice two factor authentication with Duo that makes live so much easier than carrying fobs around all the time to get keep track of access codes. I do like that every few weeks they keep updating and plugging their UX with better desings, and faster responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Ivanti Connect Secure? It's basic, it used to take 3-4 login screens before it would start, and it always wanted to redownload themselves to your computer. Which was superbly annoying. because you'd login in, log in again, hit connect, do the two factor authentication, it try to download itself back onto your computer, while opening a dialoge box allowing you to refuse your own connection or confirm the connection. This has been a good solution for providing admin network access to our student works, and our remote workers. Being at a higher education facility the rules in place by the Networking team and Active Directory guys blocks student workers from having access to the network servers they need to get to, to do the job we hired them for. The alternatives are provide them with Ethernet connections, or VPNs for the social teams, event techs, and web tech crew who were all given newer macbooks with no ethernet port. So we started using Pulse Secure to solve the problem. It works great, I can be remote, I can work with students, and not have to limit the connection to fulltime employees (not even our contractors have admin network access). The ability to do this opens up my accessibility to coworkers and also my flexibility with working outside of normal business hours. It is simple, efficient and reliable. All I need to click on its icon and connect to the gateway I wish to use. Give the username and token code [generated on RSA soft token]. It will connect me to the VPN within few seconds.
