I like how fast and easy it is to set up and then use a link to invite others. I appreciate the chat feature as well. I use it to arrange virtual office hours with my students many of whom live far from campus and it saves both sides time and hassle. It is also better than Skype and others because it is web based. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about iTeach.world? I wish it would expand from limit of 8 participants to maybe 10 for conferencing. I am a bit suspicious of the privacy policy terms and conditions, for example, on page 6, it says "We review all the stored data every 5 years, however personal data might be stored for a longer period of time." That last portion is questionable and very vague. It doesn't give me much confidence from a privacy point of view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering iTeach.world: I would highly recommend Webroom for anyone who is transitioning their classes to online or if they need a way to virtually meet with their students. Another benefit is that it can be used as a tool by students to run their own virtual group sessions for assignments, etc. The workspaces feature and the whiteboard are some features that are great! Solving problem of finding an easy non installation based video tool for arranging virtual meetings with my students. WebRoom is a conference site but it is characterized by not offering a software or application for the computer or devices, if it does not stand out for performing the entire process directly on the website, it is extremely easy to use this service, since it is only to create a room or site to hold the conference and invite participants by mail and in this way they join, to live chat. There are problems that can be solved to improve the service for example, the quality of video deteriorates and it is not by network, which is annoying, only 8 participants can be added and there are errors that disconnect from the call, to participants, it can be annoying. Recommendations to others considering iTeach.world: I recommend it because it is a free system, it makes it much more attractive, in addition to allowing you to test the entire system and configure it easily, just start the console, invite and start the conference, however you must improve some things such as adding more people to the video and avoid the disconnections that happens to participants suddenly, but it is a free system and is constantly updated, even so we are happy because it has complied with what it offers and its failures are sometimes that is why I love it, I recommend it. Webroom is a videoconferencing service that allows us to create rooms online for free and with the purpose of inviting participants to participate in the management of the project or the work we are going to do, I am satisfied with the features offered by the system and that it is possible to share files, to be able to send messages and in this way to be able to share links to web pages in a secure way, without the participants being removed from the system, it is good to know that the rooms are there If they are not saved immediately, the participants are disconnected and the creator disappears from the activities carried out to obtain more security than is handled there. The compatibility of the browser can be its disadvantage since to be able to use or invite a participant to the room it is not possible from an application to join from a mobile device, its only possibility is through the web browser, which can be annoying or entering from righ now. Due to problems with the previous systems that we had in the company to carry out the videoconferences, it was decided to look for a change to have different options to the main one, for us Webroom was a totally different system because it is a free software and that allows many processes in which a paid software is very similar, that is why we decided to test its service and it has solved many problems, its support and system are handled much better than other expensive ones, it is very manageable and easy to use. "It is very efficient." 4.5/5 What do you like best about iTeach.world? For a company like mine that has alot to do with meetings,presentations and video conferencing, WebRoom is an application that has been very useful.
