Some candidates are spot on and others are not. As it is with using agency partners, most of the candidates have been subpar but we've been able to make 2 hires from them. I have noticed that they will reach out to candidates where they have placed them and then will take them to another client. That's great for the candidate but makes me skeptical on how often they are reaching out to candidates they have placed for a new opportunity. ### 3. I'm unsure if they have some heavy internal client vetting process, but whatever they're doing has been working out very well - for myself, at least. **What do you dislike about ISG Partners?** I don't have anything negative to say about ISG, just typing since there's a minimum character count for this section. **What problems is ISG Partners solving and how is that benefiting you?** My "business problem" is that I'm currently unemployed. ISG's benefitted me by placing me once in my first SaaS sales role out of college, and I'm working with them again now to find another SDR role with two great opportunities, which I'm both in the second round for. ### 4. Whenever I am on the hunt for a new opportunity, they've been super helpful in finding roles that fit exactly what I'm looking for, setting up interviews (and preparing you for them) and everything in between. I personally don't like working with most recruiters, but ISG is different. It's a much more personalized experience (ex: the CEO Ben Hawn will call/text to check in before interviews to see if you need anything, ask how things went, provide feedback). **What do you like best about ISG Partners?** They provide a very comprehensive, personalized recruiting experience. Everything will be taken care of to ensure you are properly prepared for all your interviews. In the pre-COVID world, they also had some innovative ways to mix up the typical first stage phone screen by having recruiting nights at local restaurants and breweries. Was a much more relaxed way of being introduced to a prospective employer and getting to know some of their current employees. **What do you dislike about ISG Partners?** Sometimes they're not able to get feedback from companies on why they decided to not move forward with you in the interview process. During the process, they were helpful, professional and set all the right expectations for me to prepare prior to interviewing. I received an offer literally the next business day, which I was amazed at receiving so promptly. To me, that says that the organization trusted ISG to bring them the right talent at the right time. Great experience overall and I'm appreciative of ISG's efforts in helping me land a dream job. **What do you like best about ISG Partners?** ISG provided ample resources for me to prepare during the interview process. I felt comfortable going into the interview and knew what to expect and how to deliver. Preparedness is key and ISG enabled me to feel prepared and comfortable before walking in the door. **What do you dislike about ISG Partners?** Before landing the job that ISG recruited me for, I was reached out to by quite a few recruiters at the firm. if you're actively looking for a job, that is helpful and appreciated. If you're not actively pursuing for a new position, it can be redundant telling several different recruiters that you aren't considering a career change. **Recommendations to others considering ISG Partners:** Strongly recommend their recruiting staffing/services firm. You won't be disappointed. **What problems is ISG Partners solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem I was solving was finding a great fit for a career change.
