Benefit: MyPath identifies those gaps through diagnostic assessments and adapts content to target them, helping students catch up more efficiently. ### 2. The program delivers instruction through multiple modes, including video-based explicit guidance, independent practice, teacher support, and reteaching lessons as the need comes. Additionally, students have multiple opportunities to demonstrate mastery. One of the most valuable aspects of MyPath is its flexibility, allowing teachers to tailor the program to individual student needs. Educators can mark lessons passed after reteaching, remove non-essential lessons to accelerate progress, and reset student learning paths or assessments as needed. By strategically integrating MyPath with small-group or one-on-one instruction, teachers can optimize student learning time and provide personalized support for intervention students. **What do you dislike about Imagine MyPath?** The lessons are typically longer due to the videos. With intervention, students' long videos can be challenging to endure. I wish teachers could turn on accommodations like text-to-speech and other language support themselves. Not all students receive that support, but our district's system does not support the personalization needed on the technology side. Teachers should be able to do it because they determine what supports are needed and when. **What problems is Imagine MyPath solving and how is that benefiting you?** MyPath is helping to solve the problem of not know where to start with students' unfinished learning. Students in intervention have varied needs. This program can give direction to teachers on prioritized concepts and skills that are helpful to accelerate learning. ### 3. We are currently using the program daily to support our students with skill gaps in Math. The adaptive pathways make it easy for students to engage in skill building. The report and progress monitoring features make is easy for our teachers to monitor our students' progress. The quality of the graphics and text are age appropriate for our high school students, regardless of what level/pathway our students are working on. The consultation and customer support through Imagine MyPath Math has been outstanding. Derrick Hernandez and Kelly James are always available and quick to respond to our district's needs. Our frequent and ongoing "check-ins' are extremely informative and provide ongoing support as we navigate our first year of implementation. Lidia Barillas has also been amazing in providing our in-person and virtual professional development sessions. The follow-through at all levels has exceeded our expections so much that we are looking to bring Imagine MyPath to our secondary ELA students as well. I look forward to our continued partnership and collaboration. **What do you dislike about Imagine MyPath?** We have just started implmenting Imagine MyPath Math this school year. We would need more time to assess and see our students outcomes. I have not had a negative experience so far. **What problems is Imagine MyPath solving and how is that benefiting you?** Imagine MyPath is supporting our high school students and helping them close their skill gaps in math. It is solving the issus of needing to provdie Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to our students while making it feasible within a 45 minute class period. The independence of the students on the program is successful in assisting our teachers in providing targeted small group support. ### 4. It is a great progress monitoring tool for the student and for the teacher. Students can clearly see what tasks to accomplish to move forward. I really like that it is individualized for each student on any level. **What do you dislike about Imagine MyPath?** Even though there are some positives, I think there are more negatives I see as a teacher. The platform is a little cumbersome. Also, when the tasks are distributed to the students, there are too many all at once in my opinion and I cannot change them. I also do not find the material very interesting for my students. **Recommendations to others considering Imagine MyPath:** If you need a program to help students get an individualized plan of coursework to help them, Edgenuity could be helpful. Really look over all that it can do and see if it truly meets your requirements. Also, be sure to use their site support! **What problems is Imagine MyPath solving and how is that benefiting you?** To be honest, we have not really had any problems solved by using Edgenuity MyPath. In fact, we have not used it as much as we thought we would because there are been glitches that we did not expect from the program. The benefits would be that students can have individualized coursework set up for them. ### 6. I got detention for "not doing mypath", which makes me hate it even more. It probably would be better if it wasnt enforced on us students **What do you dislike about Imagine MyPath?** The whole thing about mypath is bad. It makes no sense in our school that we have to use it. I feel like it makes me depressed and sad because of how bad it is **What problems is Imagine MyPath solving and how is that benefiting you?** They don't solve anything. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. We use Edgenuity MyPath to decrease the achievement gap in our lower functioning students in reading comprehension and math skills. In one year, 95% of our students reading scores and math scores increased. **What do you dislike about Imagine MyPath?** Sometimes, the instructions are a bit unclear for our students in Edgenity MyPath. However, they can ask customer service for assistance when necessary. However, this rarely happens. **What problems is Imagine MyPath solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it to bridge the knowledge gap. Think of Edgenuity MyPath as a tutor to provide extra assistance to those students who are behind in knowledge.
