What do you like best about IFS Copperleaf?

They seem a bit difficult at first once you become familiar with them they become poor in optimizing your business value. There is a learning curve for users. It is not worth the effort to master this data driven solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IFS Copperleaf?

Copperleafs customer service lacks in depth support, which makes it difficult to solve issues. It works well for utilities it struggles to analyze and prioritize intricate data for our organization. The investment container concept provided by Copperleaf fails to justify investments especially when presenting to management or dealing with audit and regulatory agencies. What problems is IFS Copperleaf solving and how is that benefiting you?

Copperleaf needs improvement in its customer support and data analysis capabilities to cater to organizations like ours. Copperleaf is not solving the issue of investment planning and optimization. What do you like best about IFS Copperleaf?

The range of features provided by Copperleaf is quite difficult. The design is also not visually appealing. There is a learning curve for users the optimization algorithm presents a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IFS Copperleaf?

They are not responsive enough when it comes to solving queries. We face difficulties with the data analysis and prioritization that Copperleaf supposedly facilitates. We decided that Copperleaf was a good fit for an electric utility as it has a number of utility clients. Utilities often rely on asset condition as a main input in the investment process and Copperleaf supports risk based condition assessments when developing investment plans. We could also see value in using Copperleaf as the "investment container" that collected all of the information (condition, performance, risks, costs, rating, reference documentation, etc.) needed to justify an investment which could be used when dealing with or responding to questions from Senior Management, Audit, Regulatory Agencies, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is IFS Copperleaf solving and how is that benefiting you?

Developing condition and risk based/measured optimized annual and ongoing adjustment of Capital and OM&A budgets across the entire organization that also provides the necessary investment rationale, costs, risk assessment and supporting documentation that justifies each individual investment so that more objective decisions can be made across all lines of business within the organization. In order to accomplish the objective, the project sought to implement a single and consistent investment planning and evaluation process and understood that Change Management was a key factor to consider when dealing with an asset intensive and operations utility that has many lines of businesses competing for scarce resources.
