We use Ideagen Plant Assessor and our prestarts have never been so easy, it also provides our businesses with an efficient and effective tool for managing plant equipment safety, maintenance, compliance, and risk management. It ultimately helps reduce downtime, minimize risks, and ensure compliance—all of which can result in significant cost savings and improved operational efficiency.

Customer support is excellent and ensure users get help when needed. The platform itself was very simple to setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ideagen Machine Safety?

Puts the plant risk assessment process on rails - consistency. I tell others that if 3 different people did risk assessments on the same machine, they'd have 3 completely different results, but if they use Plant Assessor, they'll have consistent results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideagen Machine Safety?

Pricey per machine. Makes us hesitant to conduct them on behalf of subcontractors when they don't have plant risk assessments available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In Civil Engineering, inspections, reporting, and safety are foundations of an effective, risk and injury-free site. What do you like best about Ideagen Machine Safety?

Ideagen Plant Assessor has helped us streamline our processes. We no longer require the use of hard copy documentation and are able to get the information we require in real time and from any location. We no longer have the need to retain, copy or upload Plant & Equipment information, but instead have it all in one user friendly location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideagen Machine Safety?

Previously we have had issues with some of the functionality of the application and issues when working in rural locations, however over time we have worked with trhe customer support team to resolve such issues as updates have naturally occurred over time. I like the plant prestarts and how it will tag out vehicle/plant if defects require it to be tagged out.
