Built-in alignment with SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and HIPAA requirements, along with tight IAM integration, network isolation, and worker pool controls, makes Kubernetes operations much easier in compliance-driven environments. **What do you dislike about IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service?** A specific challenge with IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service is deep networking and control-plane troubleshooting. For example, when we encountered intermittent Ingress routing issues tied to VPC networking and worker pool configuration, the root cause wasn’t immediately visible from Kubernetes-level logs or events. Some diagnostics required correlating IBM Cloud networking settings outside the cluster, which slowed resolution compared to more transparent platforms. **What problems is IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before using IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service, we struggled with operating Kubernetes consistently across on-prem and cloud environments, especially around security controls, upgrades, and access management. Cluster behavior varied by environment, which increased on-call load and slowed releases. After implementing IKS, we standardized clusters with a managed control plane, integrated IAM, and predictable upgrades. This allowed us to run hybrid workloads with far less manual intervention, reduced configuration drift, and cut incident noise. As a result, deployment consistency improved, on-call escalations dropped, and we reduced operational effort by several hours each week while meeting strict compliance requirements. ### 2. It provisions control loops that manage and keep in check of our cluster states. Our custom resource definition can be added to IBM cloud Kubernetes API without having the need to build a server from scratch. **What do you dislike about IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service?** IBM Cloud Kubernetes Services is overall sufficient for our organization's container management requirements. One thing that can be improved is its daemon set, with which additional capabilities would lead to running a specific set of nodes during the replication of our clusters. **What problems is IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our Data Plane is optimized by analyzing the metrics such as CPU, Memory, Network, and Storage for ensuring proper governance of the container thanks to IBM cloud K8 services. Various container provisioning aids us in our automatic schedules, self-replication of failures, fast deployments, and extended scalability. Our Docker containers deployment has fault-tolerance and zero-downtime capabilities with multi-zonal configurations, This ensures computational availability and comfortably meets our client's expectations as we deploy their containers with the help of IBM Cloud Kubernetes Services. ### 3. Very intuitive. We have been looking for a product that allows us to orchestrate our docker containers in a way where it allows us to effectively scale our applications to production. It also provides us a way of monitoring all our infrastructure in a very clear concise way. **What do you dislike about IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service?** Nothing in particular in terms of the product, just that I want to be able to get this up and running as soon as possible, but we would need to go though quite a bit of executive and financial approval to get this in our doorstep **What problems is IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service solving and how is that benefiting you?** Orchestration of our docker containers.
