IBM Cloud Container Registry consists of two features that make it distinct from other Container Registry. Firstly the way it can handle the Container Images in the form of Repository and Namespace with the best GUI offered, making it easily accessible to the DevOps. They have too many images to handle, which just got more manageable due to IBM CCR. Secondly, it has Image security compliance with Vulnerability Advisor, which is the best tool for checking compromised images and saves a lot of manual checks and time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about IBM Cloud Container Registry? There is a quota limit for storage and push/pull traffic of images. Pricing is the main issue. The offering provided by IBM is costlier than Docker Hub and Google for the same container technologies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering IBM Cloud Container Registry: Recommended only to DevOps who are concerned with the Security of all the images used in their organization. Use another cloud for Storage and Push/Pull purposes cause those are cheaper with no hidden cost involved. Audits of all the images can be done using CI/CD. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. The only problem I was able to solve was the use of a Security Advisor is way better as compared to any other Cloud Registry.
