Hyground is a very powerful app that sits on top of my observability stack. Thanks to the self-hosting option, it feels very secure, and it also makes it easy for me to integrate it into our existing tool landscape. For me, it has given our developers more power to understand what’s happening in the apps without needing the plattform team, and it has saved about 50 percent of the time we used to spend on incident resolution. At least for now, you need a K8s cluster to host it. It’s also not exactly cheap; however, compared to the salaries you have to pay, it still feels very affordable. At the moment, it’s a bit hard to fill up the knowledge base and to figure out all the possible tools you can connect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
