"Huntress SAT makes the onboarding, configuration, and training of new clients quick and easy."
5/5
What do you like best about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

The new client onboarding process using Microsoft Graph is quick and easy. I like that they automatically exclude obvious non-user licensed accounts (like scans@domain.com) and the ability to manually exclude users that don't require training. Their curated monthly phishing and training emails make training sessions easy to deploy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

While not specifically a Huntress issue, clients sometimes ignore the training emails requiring us to let them know they are legitimate emails and they should do the training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great information, not great delivery"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

Let me get started by saying, Huntress all around is a good product. The tools they are implementing are bettering security by many standards, and their platform is very easy to use and giving employee's training is easy. When talking to support, they are able to get what I need answered quickly and effectively. While we didn't implement it for customers, we did test it internally, and all the information is good. It helps basic end users understand that the simple and seemingly harmless things they do can be the life or death of the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

One thing I do not like about the security awareness training is the same thing I didn’t like about curricula to start with, the animations. Don’t get me wrong, animations can be fun and easy at times, but this almost felt like I was teaching cybersecurity to my son through PBS kids and cartoon shows. Working toward teaching kids to stay safe online and instilling hard security practice is a great thing, but I can't sell this to my lawyers, doctors, CPAs, and office administration of my manufacturing facilities. I could think of a small handful of 300 customers who would enjoy this training. We have a competitor of curricula ONLY for the cybersecurity training and phishing simulation, and while it has animation, they are definitely geared toward adults. I think if there’s a way you could make another section for more business formal training, we would love to implement it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great User-Friendly SAT Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

I like the creativity of the lessons and I think the funny characters and situations keep the viewers engaged. The animations help ground the training scenarios in a real-world environment that makes it easier to relate to them and understand how they can apply to your own workplace. I also like how easy it was to compile reports of who had completed the training and what modules they went through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

Deactivating users and categorizing them in a way that makes it easy to configure what training is applicable for them (based on role/department) is not the most intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive and Effective"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

What I liked best about Huntress Security Awareness Training is its practical and engaging approach. The content is easy to understand for users of all technical levels, and the real-world scenarios make the lessons feel relevant and applicable. The platform's ability to track progress and measure effectiveness ensures continuous improvement in security practices across the team. The interactive elements, such as quizzes and hands-on exercises, kept the training interesting and helped reinforce key security concepts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

One downside of Huntress Security Awareness Training is that some of the modules can feel a bit lengthy, making it harder to maintain focus throughout. Additionally, while the content is generally comprehensive, it would be helpful to have more customizable training options to better align with specific organizational needs or industry-specific threats. "Valuable Training, helps"
4/5
What do you like best about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

There are a lot of threats, particularly with people using their email, that the best means of protecting clients is through teaching them how to be safe. One thing that was really cool was the way we could set up the fake scam emails that a company could use and then send out in real time to employees and see who fell for them. It provided a real life experience and teaching moment for people. The phishing trainings are great and something every single person needs to be trained on in my opinion as it is something I see people fall victim to on a regular basis. I found the lessons entertaining enough and written simple and clear. Including training for things like HIPAA and PCI compliance I could see as being a great tool for people as well because a lot of people get intimidated and don't know how to make sure they are compliant. What do you dislike about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

I don't really have any complaints specifically about the product. Our problem is that we have a very limited amount of businesses and clients in our small area of Wyoming so it's hard to get people to bite on paying for some extra security training. So implementing these training tools in a way that they would be used frequently is our weak spot but that is mostly probably on us and not the actual product itself. "First SAT platform that's received unprompted positive feedback from our staff."
4/5
What do you like best about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

Quality of the training videos is good. Each one contains a story line mostly centering around the recurring character of DeeDee, which tend to be more engaging than most other platforms I've seen. Lots of various topics covered as well, including decent high-level modules for HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance. When I've suggested some minor edits to content, Huntress was very quick to review the feedback, discuss and approve internally, and make the change in the module. I also found it to be quite easy to set up the platform, sync all of our employees from Entra ID, and schedule some training sessions to be sent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

We like to do a larger training session made up of multiple modules that we either have employees complete annually as a formal SAT refresher for compliance purposes, or as part of their initial onboarding. Then we send a single module out each month as ongoing SAT. We can't use the curated automated option for monthly trainings because it doesn't include a provision for doing that larger annual training. Also some of the verbiage in the emails is static and can't be changed. We treat the monthly single module sessions as optional but recommended, yet the email states "Required training" and we can't change that, only add additional verbiage. "A Seamless and Easy Transition to the platform"
4/5
What do you like best about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

One of the standout features is its intuitive and user-friendly platform. The centralized portal provides seamless access to training modules, reports, and user management tools, offering a level of control and visibility that was previously lacking on our previous platform.

Managed Assignment and Phishing campaign are just perfect!

Additionally, they have been improving platform constantly.

Implementing the platform was easier on the tenant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

While Huntress Security Awareness Training offers many valuable features, there are a few areas that could be enhanced like reports and API. The accuracy and reliability of the reports have been inconsistent at times. Additionally, the lack of API support for report generation and customization limits our ability to integrate and tailor reports to our specific needs. Improving these aspects would further streamline our experience and increase the overall effectiveness of the training program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good product - does what it says on the tin"
4/5
What do you like best about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

One of the best features is the ease of use. Deployment was quick, and it requires minimal ongoing management, which is a huge plus for our busy IT team. The phishing simulations are top-notch, regularly updated to reflect real-world threats, keeping us on our toes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

I do wish there were more customization options for the phishing simulations. It would be great to tailor them even more to our specific needs. Also, while the pricing is fair for the value it provides, it might be a bit steep for smaller organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of the best companies to work with from a security perspective"
4/5
What do you like best about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

Huntress Security Awareness Training offers an engaging and straightforward approach to cybersecurity education. The content is well-organized and tailored to different levels of expertise, making it accessible to everyone in our organization. The training modules are interactive and include real-world scenarios, which help reinforce the lessons learned. Additionally, the regular updates and the relevance of the topics ensure that our team stays informed about the latest security threats. The overall impact on our team’s awareness and behavior towards security practices has been very positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

While Huntress Security Awareness Training is highly effective, I feel that it could benefit from more in-depth coverage of advanced topics for those who already have a solid understanding of basic cybersecurity principles. The training could also incorporate more diverse multimedia content, such as videos or infographics, to cater to different learning preferences. Lastly, the reporting tools, while functional, could be enhanced to provide more detailed insights into individual progress and areas needing improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Management, Engaging Content"
5/5
What do you like best about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

Huntress SAT offers a super quick and effective security awareness training platform. Deployment is quick and efficient, integration with 365/Google is easy, whitelisting domains/IPs is easy with provided PowerShell scripts. Dima and the team are quick to make changes - they really listen to requests and are super responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training?

I'd like some more content on certain concepts, and the creation of Huntress Managed Compliance Learning Plans would be great. Plans that check the boxes for different CIS requirements, etc. You can pretty much build these on your own as is, though. Sometimes the content feels like it moves a little slow, but you've gotta give users time to process what they've learned so that's understandable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
