What do you like best about HRLocker?

I like how easy it is to use. Everything I need is in one place, like booking annual leave, checking my payslips and updating my details. It's straightforward and saves having to email HR for little things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HRLocker?

The only thing I'd improve is making it a bit quicker to navigate. Sometimes it takes a few clicks to find certain things, and it would be nice if the homepage could be a bit more personalised with shortcuts to the features I use most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HRLocker?

What I like best about HRLocker is how it simplifies and centralises key HR processes in a very practical way. The digital signing functionality is particularly valuable, as it allows us to confidently ensure that all employees have received, read and acknowledged important documents such as the employee handbook, without any manual follow-up.

The integration with HireHive is also excellent. It makes managing recruitment far more efficient, especially when dealing with a high volume of applicants. It is easy to collaborate with colleagues, move candidates through each stage of the process, and once a hire is made, transitioning them into HRLocker for onboarding is seamless. Overall, it saves significant administrative time and improves visibility across the entire recruitment and HR lifecycle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HRLocker?

One area where HRLocker could be improved is in the flexibility of its annual leave management. More advanced options, such as automated long service leave increments, easier bulk upload of carryover balances, and clearer handling of days in lieu, would make it more suitable for organisations with more complex policies.

The Reviews module is another area that could be enhanced. At present, the structure and workflow do not fully align with how we manage performance and development internally, so we have not been able to adopt it. What do you like best about HRLocker?

It’s very clear and easy to operate, and creating a new employee profile is extremely simple.

It's very reliable, always work, it doesn't log you out, no errors.

People can check themselves when someone else is on annual leave, they can book their own holidays.

I think it should be bit cheaper and that you should be able to pick 1 or 2 employess instead of paying for 3 as we are a small company.

We connected payroll to it and it works perfectly fine.

Customer support is great, they reply fairly quickly.

What do you dislike about HRLocker?

It’s frustrating that you can’t add a second management-level user who receives the same emails as the main user—for example, notifications when training expires or when other important changes occur. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HRLocker?

The automated compliance tracking is an absolute lifesaver for us. In sustainable fashion, maintaining up-to-date right-to-work documents and ethical training certifications is non-negotiable. HRLocker’s proactive alerts mean we never miss an expiration, keeping us audit-ready without the usual administrative panic. I’m also a huge fan of the centralized employee portal. It empowers our team to handle their own time-off requests and access policies independently, which perfectly reinforces the transparent, equitable culture we’re actively building at EcoWear London. What do you dislike about HRLocker?

While it excels at general HR, it misses some niche needs specific to the apparel sector. I’d love native modules for tracking ethical sourcing training or supply chain audit certifications. Additionally, as ESG reporting becomes critical for sustainability goals, having built-in tools to track these metrics would be fantastic. Finally, offering more customizable survey templates focused on workplace equity and well-being would help mission-driven organizations better gauge employee sentiment. What do you like best about HRLocker?

What I like most about HRLocker is how much time it saves across everyday HR tasks. The system is very easy to navigate and it helps streamline processes like annual leave, onboarding, document management, and attendance tracking. There’s very little to dislike about HRLocker overall. One improvement I think would be useful is having more flexibility around attendance tracking for hybrid working, such as allowing employees to indicate whether they are working remotely or onsite when clocking in. What do you like best about HRLocker?

All employee info is in one place. The platform can be used by all employees and admins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HRLocker?

Difficult to navigate. Admins have to ask to have certian key features activated, and don't even know about there availability until asked for - eg chat bot!

Documentation storage and filing is woeful. There is no ability to put documents in folders, in date order etc.

Employee records are awkward to work in. It is not clear where documentation or information could or should be found.

Pricing is okayish, but could be more competitive given the limitations of the software.

Support is okay, onboarding when we joined was not ideal, that may have changed.

I haven't used AI in HRLocker apart from the chat bot. I am not aware of it as a facility to support HR

Noticeboard is very limited and uninviting.

As an admin when you are working in tabs regarding an employee and you change tabs it always refers back to your own record - this is highly frustrating!

There is no facility for allocating inventory items to an employee. This would be a valuable addition to the software.

Integrations are listed. What is integrated with HRLocker? Why am I not informed? Do I have to go looking everytime and waste my time. Just list what is integrated somewhere.

What do you like best about HRLocker?

I really like the centralised database that HRLocker provides, allowing us to save all HR documentation in one place. The system records annual leave, time attendance, and all HR documents and messages, which is very convenient. Employees can view their annual leave accrued and book time off without needing to contact HR, giving them more control and freeing up HR's time. I find it very user-friendly and appreciate that it requires minimal training. Additionally, HRLocker allows employees and HR to access information 24/7, providing flexibility and autonomy. What do you dislike about HRLocker?

It would help if company resources i.e. staff, vehicles and equipment could be allocated to one or more jobs per day. Then print a daily job diary to send crew to show what jobs they have been assigned to. They should not be available to select if they have booked time off. What do you like best about HRLocker?

What I like best about HRLocker is how user friendly and practical it is for day to day HR operations. It takes a lot of the admin burden out of processes like leave management, onboarding, document tracking, and time and attendance, which makes things much more efficient for both HR and managers.

I also find the self service aspect really beneficial because employees can access their own documents, request leave, and update information easily without constantly needing HR involvement. What do you dislike about HRLocker?

There’s not much I dislike about HRLocker overall, but one feature I’d like to see added is the ability for employees to select whether they are working from home or in the office when clocking in and out. What do you like best about HRLocker?

I use HRLocker for clocking in and out, submitting, and approving timesheets. It's really helpful for tracking overtime, managing time-off entitlements, and handling annual leave requests. I love the 'Who's Off' tab because it allows employees to see who has already booked leave, helping us avoid scheduling conflicts and ensuring staff who buddy up don't take leave at the same time. It's user-friendly and was easy to integrate with our systems. Overall, it simplifies keeping track of clock cards, knowing when employees are scheduled to take leave, and monitoring things like sick days, annual leave, and other types of leave.
