Simple tool that could cut down on license expenses, though it requires fine-tuning and can scale up to a point where Alloy DB becomes necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Google SQL faces challenges with partitioning and is relatively challenging to manage. While Google has made some improvements, it still lacks the flexibility found in other cloud platforms. Additionally, the inability to use SQL Server Data Tools may pose an issue for users accustomed to SQL Server. Google Cloud SQL has drawbacks, including latency issues as the quota size increases, and challenges in handling tasks like incorporating, granting, and restricting user privileges.
