Gnosis Reviews & Product Details

Gnosis is a contract administration assistant designed specifically for the civil engineering and construction sectors. It streamlines the management of contracts by integrating various essential functions into a unified system, ensuring compliance with standard forms such as NZS 3910, AS 4000, and AIA/EJCDC. This integration allows professionals to handle claims, certificates, variations, notices, and statutory deadlines efficiently, reducing the reliance on disparate tools like spreadsheets and email threads. One of the core features of Gnosis is its ability to process payment claims. Contractors can submit claims directly through the platform, which then aligns these claims against the predefined Schedule of Rates. The system automatically calculates cumulative quantities, applies retention bands, and computes GST according to the specific contract's rulebook. Any discrepancies, such as over-claims, are flagged with supporting evidence, facilitating accurate and transparent certification processes. Gnosis also manages variations and extensions of time (EOT). Users can raise Variation Orders, tag relevant clauses, and price them against scheduled rates. The platform routes these variations through predefined approval chains, ensuring that all changes are authorized appropriately. Additionally, granted EOTs adjust downstream project timelines automatically, maintaining an up-to-date project schedule. The communications hub within Gnosis consolidates all project-related communications, including notices, Requests for Information (RFIs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and transmittals. Each communication is numbered, role-tagged, and tracked with statutory clocks, ensuring timely responses and a comprehensive audit trail. Gnosis Intelligence, the platform's AI-driven component, enhances various aspects of contract administration. It assists in importing and structuring schedules of rates from spreadsheets, drafting documents, and flagging potential issues. Importantly, all AI-generated drafts require human approval before issuance, maintaining professional oversight and accountability. The platform supports subcontract and supplier management by providing free portals for subcontractors. These portals are scoped to individual subcontracts, allowing subcontractors to submit claims and view their records without accessing unrelated project information. This ensures data security and clarity in subcontractor interactions. Gnosis offers flexible pricing plans tailored to different organizational needs. The 'Practice' plan is designed for sole practitioners or small teams, including two active contracts and three team members. The 'Firm' plan caters to consultancies and contractors managing multiple projects, offering ten active contracts and unlimited team members. The 'Agency' plan is customized for larger entities like state agencies or multi-office firms, providing unlimited contracts and additional features such as Single Sign-On (SSO) and data residency options. In summary, Gnosis provides a comprehensive, integrated solution for contract administration in the civil engineering and construction industries. By automating critical processes and ensuring compliance with standard contract forms, it enhances efficiency, accuracy, and accountability in project management.
