Genera is a cloud-based operations system built for UK dog daycare, boarding, walking and grooming businesses. One dashboard handles bookings, payments, client records, staff and route logistics, replacing spreadsheets and disconnected tools. A 24/7 online booking portal lets clients book and manage their own visits, with bookings auto-populating the calendar. Pet profiles store feeding instructions, vet contacts and vaccination records in one place, with alerts for anything expiring or missing. Payments support auto-charge, bulk invoicing, Direct Debit and card options. Route planning is built in, with drag-and-drop pickup and drop-off routes accessible on mobile for drivers. Staff management covers scheduling, holiday, sick leave and payroll. Genera is priced as one flat monthly fee, £50/month, with no per-seat or per-module charges as a business adds staff or services — unlike most competitors, where the price climbs sharply once a team grows past a few people.
