Full Scale is a software development staffing company that helps US-based companies build and scale engineering teams with offshore developers in the Philippines. Founded in 2018 by 4x tech founder and CTO Matt Watson, Full Scale exists to solve the problem every growing software company eventually hits: finding and hiring good developers fast enough, without paying US-market rates for every role. Full Scale provides staff augmentation, not project outsourcing. Companies get dedicated, full-time developers who work directly inside their existing teams and workflows, not a black-box vendor team working a separate SOW. Engineers are sourced, vetted, and placed across the full stack, including .NET, Java, PHP, Python, JavaScript/React/Node, and mobile, with fewer than 3% of applicants accepted onto the bench. All engineers work remotely from across the Philippines and are managed through Full Scale's own platform for time tracking, reporting, and team visibility. Pricing starts at $35/hr and up, fully loaded, with the final rate depending on seniority, specialty, and team size. Clients typically see 50-70% savings compared to hiring the equivalent talent in the US. Engagements start in as little as 7 days depending on bench availability, and come with a two-week money-back guarantee: if it isn't working out in the first two weeks, clients get their money back. After that, there are no long-term contracts. Clients can cancel with 30 days' notice. Since 2018, Full Scale has grown to more than 300 engineers on staff, served 200+ companies, and placed more than 700 individual engineers with clients, delivering over 5 million hours of development work.
