I like that I don't need to mess around with real email inboxes on websites, I can just use Mutant Mail instead. It's easy to add new emails and domains to the platform and you get all the email sent to an email of your choice. Once I understood everything about Mutant Mail, everything was so easy to set up. The process is intuitive. You just need to set up your domains' DNS entries and have them added and verified in MM. It's a set-and-forget kind of tool. ;-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI/UX could use some improvement. For example, when on the Settings page, if you need to update more than one setting, you have to go thru each of them and SAVE, and then everything refreshes, then update the other settings and SAVE and everything refreshes again. When I first started using Mutant Mail, my email inbox was a mess. The emails were all over the place and hard to find. Now, everything is in one spot and easy to manage from our main domain account. It's really simple to use as well! I love how we can send out emails across multiple domains with just a click of a button! We also have been able to receive replies back across multiple domains without having them go into our spam folder or even bouncing back because they don't match the recipient's address! It's really difficult to find anything that I don't like about this tool because the relief that it brought us was so significant that it saved us a lot of time and resources and it elevated our professionalism to our web design clients. If there is anything that I would wish to be improved, it's just the UI of the software. If it can be made more modern and sexier, it would be more fun to use. The configuration was simple, although it is desirable to know about DNS management. If you don't, Mutant Mail has a manual to follow the steps in a very simple way. Another thing that I liked is that you can very simply configure the name or department of who is sending the mail for each account. So when you send an email, the receiver will see the name or department and next to it the email account.

In conclusion, I can say that Mutant Mail is a wonderful tool for those who use several email accounts from the same mailbox. You can even use a gmail account and use your own domain to send and receive mail. This will allow you to use all the benefits of Gmail email, such as anti-spam, anti-virus and 15GB of space for your email, but with your corporate email. The great thing about Mutant Mail is that it allows you to set up multiple email accounts to receive or forward incoming mail. The offer also seems generous to me because the basic plan allows you to configure up to 50 email accounts. Great!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When you receive an email to your main mailbox, Mutant Mail adds a line to indicate that you are using this application. When you reply to an email you have to remove this line if you don't want it to appear. This line takes a bit of seriousness out of your email. But you can easily remove it and you can set it to appear below or above your mail when replying so you can easily remove it.

Another thing I don't like is that if you want to start a conversation thread with someone you don't have in your contacts, you have to configure the recipient's account in a special way. Mutant Mail has a tool for this within the app. Once you learn how it works it's not so complicated. For me it is not a big problem, but I think of people for whom technology is complex. On the other hand, it is a simple way to solve the problem of sending emails as if you were using different email accounts within the same mailbox that you use on a daily basis. Trying to maintain and monitor email addresses across 30+ domains has been a real nightmare / challenge / waste of time. It has also been costly, even with the ability to create aliases under Office 365. Mutant mail has significantly and successfully cut the effort and cost for our agency business managing all of those domains and associated emails. Support has been super responsive and even helped us quickly add our 30+ domains to the system. The process to add the MX and TXT records is a bit tedious when you've got lots of domains but the support team are working on solutions to make that process a lot easier.

Highly recommended if you're managing a lot of domains and if you are mainly need a solution to receive & reply to these emails. We are NOT using this solution for our primary outbound domain because Mutant Mail isn't as easy for sending as it is for receiving and replying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

MutantMail is an amazing email service that I have been using for a while now. It allows you to receive, send and reply to emails using one mailbox which is really convenient. You can also manage multiple email IDs with MutantMail which is great for people who have multiple email addresses. MutantMail also blocks spam which is a huge plus. I've been paying per user for Gsuite email for several years and using aliases to forward different emails around. With Mutant Mail I can manage multiple domains AND alias emails from a single email and ALSO respond. It's a great way to manage email reputation, especially if you have a few (or more) domains.
