## About FreightScout
FreightScout is a freight-native operating system for freight brokerages. It does the day-to-day work across the whole load lifecycle, from winning and pricing freight to covering it, tracking it and getting it billed, while your TMS stays the system of record. Most brokerage software watches the work happen. FreightScout does the work. It reads and writes to the TMS you already run, so loads, carriers, customers and rates stay where your team expects them. Under the hood, FreightScout runs AI agents built specifically for freight brokerage, working by phone, text and email the way a good rep would. What FreightScout does for a freight brokerage: - Carrier sales: calls carriers on open loads, negotiates inside the rate rules you set, and tees up the booking for your rep to confirm. - Track and trace: runs check calls and texts with drivers, captures pickup and delivery updates, and flags the loads that need a person before they turn into a problem. - Tender intake and load building: reads tenders and freight documents and builds the load in your TMS. - Customer sales and customer ops: keeps accounts from going quiet and puts the next action in front of the right rep. - Billing and closeout: chases PODs and paperwork, catches invoice variances, and moves delivered loads to ready to bill. - Exception management: one queue shows your team what needs attention, so managers manage the exceptions instead of chasing every load. FreightScout does not replace people. It automates the friction, not the relationship. Your reps keep the customer and carrier relationships, and they get their time back for the calls that actually grow the book. The goal is simple: every rep on your floor executing more like your best one. FreightScout is built from the work. It was founded by Connor Miller, a third-generation freight broker who spent 12 years in brokerage and scaled an agency into nine figures. Every agent is built the way an experienced broker works a load, down to what gets said on the phone with a carrier or a driver.
