It's easy to write a Hybrid Mobile Application. There is a lot of classes and function to use, and you can make your life better

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

Nothing to dislike. I think this framework is integrated

**Recommendations to others considering Framework 7:**

Easy to create a Hybrid Mobile Application

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can connect my application with a web server easily and retrieve the JSON files. After this, the application displays the data

  ### 2. Inelegant and gives headache

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

It is easy to fake a native mobile UI with it.

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

Version v3 is very inelegantly written, bloated, and hard to maintain. Don’t know if it has gotten better, but only want to get rid of it!

I have strong expertise writing responsive mobile layouts with CSS, and I passionately hate everything about Framework7.

I get a headache every time I need to touch the Framework7 code.

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None. It harms the development.

  ### 3. A fantastic framework for hybrid mobile app development.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anmol D. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

For more than three years, we've been using Framework7 to create hybrid mobile apps for our clients. It's a lightweight and appealing framework for creating hybrid mobile apps. Everything is covered in the documentation, which is flawless and informative. It's easy to get started for new/first-time developers, and it's often updated. Even on low-end smartphones, the built-in apps in this framework perform admirably, and they feel and function identically to native apps. The animations and transitions are smooth and rapid, with no noticeable lags. This framework also has a significant user base, which ensures that it is kept up to date.

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

The Swiper slider, which comes with this framework built-in, is challenging to set up and requires a lot of patience, and it occasionally crashes when other JavaScript plugins are used in the app. Also, even if we discover a significant flaw in the framework, the developer takes a long time to fix it.

**Recommendations to others considering Framework 7:**

It's simple to get started and set up. All topics are covered in detail in the documentation. The support is also fair; however, the developer takes a long time to respond to questions. Better for developers or beginners who are used to working on other frameworks that require more time to get into. The following are some of the benefits of utilizing this framework: its syntax is very similar to JQuery, establishing a mobile app using Framework 7 is not as complex as creating a website, and it can be used with other frameworks such as Angular and React. There are some drawbacks; for example, the help forums are a bit cluttered to navigate and find solutions, and the developer takes longer to address reported issues.

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Framework7 makes developing apps simple, and because it's a hybrid framework, it works on almost all modern devices. We use this framework to create apps for multiple platforms, saving us considerable time and effort. Updating apps is simple and fast in comparison to other hybrid frameworks. We tried a few other hybrid frameworks before settling on this one, but it's the most beneficial in reality.

  ### 4. Framework7 is excellent from both web and hybrid mobile development.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Balint K. | deputy general manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

Documentation quality is outstanding. Also there is a rich set of prebuilt components. In case of a problem the forum community is really supportive.

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

The source code is not guarded by unit tests.

**Recommendations to others considering Framework 7:**

Framework7 is far beyond the quality and performance of the competitive frameworks.

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for fast prototyping as well as for production mobile and desktop web application development.

  ### 5. Easy to Integrate, Clear Instructions, Super Convenience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sian Siing L. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

Its Free !!

Framework 7 provides almost all basic and extra Mobile UI to easily implement on you projects. It also provides some cool control such as infinite scroll, Lazy Loading, Pull to refresh, Swiper Slider, etc.

It is best for develop a PWA (Progressive Web App).

It can also integrate with Cordova to build an mobile application by using the HTML, CSS & JS language instead of Android language (Java/Kotlin/XML).

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

In the new version of Framework 7 (v6.0), Some function such as Infinite Loop, is different with the previous version and it didn't give the clear instructions how to implement it.

Framework 7 online community support can be improved, not all the issues will be solved by them.

Framework 7 is only supports UI for IOS and android only.

**Recommendations to others considering Framework 7:**

Recommend to the developers whos not good in the advanced programming language, as framework 7 focus on building the application by using HTML/ CSS & JavaScript. And the most important things is, it is 100% Free to use

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves a lot of time when building a mobile application by using Framework 7. As the developers doesn't need to learn new programming language such as Java/ Kotlin /XML (Android IDE), by just using the basic web programming language such as HTML/ CSS & Javascript.

This framework allows developer to build multiple platform of application like PWA (progressive web application), android application, IOS application and Windows application. It can performs well like native applications on almost newer devices and It delivered really nice UI designs with high-quality material designs and user experience.

Beside pure JavaScript language, It also support for many platforms like React JS & Vue JS.

When packaging or building the application APK file, it is x10 times faster than other framework.

  ### 6. It include almost every type of you need for any Hybrid Apps and also a Lightweight Framework

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

It includes lot many control with great documentation like Lazy Loading, infinite scroll, Pull to refresh, checkbox lists etc. Also its very easy to use for any new developer as well. Also it has blog where we can find many helpful articles for any query.

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

Recently I have created around 3 hybrid application using framework 7 and its also live but I didn't found any issue to use this framework.

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It avoids the need of custom implementation to partially load the mobile page and many more. It also has lot many events to handle any control in different use cases. It also has support for many platforms like react js, view js, pure javascript which gives first priority to choose it.

  ### 7. "Framework 7" Lots of ready-to-use ui elements, easy to customize

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shanika W. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

I worked with Framework 7 when I was getting my first industry experience as a Software Engineer. So being a new user of the framework with less experience with javascript I was able to get used to the framework very quickly. So what I love most about Framework 7 is its ability to quickly create iOS and Android apps with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with fast and easy learning.

Framework 7 is a well designed free and opensource hybrid mobile app development framework. It can be used with different structures such as, React, Angular, and so forth. Framework 7 provides a large variety of ready to use UI elements that are easy to customize and integrate with your projects. It has a quick set up time due to the amazing and solid documentation with a lot of work samples provided. One thing more important about Framework 7 is its support for React. With React support Framework 7 competes with more popular other frameworks. Also, it provides the best performance and really good quality material designs.

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

What I dislike about Framework 7 is it only supports platforms such as ios and android. Framework 7 online community support was at a comparatively low level. If you are not much good at programming on javascript, HTML, and CSS working with Framework 7 will be a bit challenging but if you follow the documentation properly you can get through this challenge successfully. As Framework7 is mostly built around Apple some times there are chances to face rendering issues on android. Also if you check online forums contribution and discussion threads regarding Framework7 related issues and solutions is a bit low compared to other native platforms.

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I worked with Framework 7 to implement a hybrid mobile application which is to be delivered to the agriculture ministry. This was developed with technologies such as Cordova and Framework7. This application facilitates users and farmers to upload geo locations, view reports, view
alerts, and notifications, request for fertilizers and other necessities, etc. The mobile app was the main data entry point. Basic data filtering and rectifying is done by the algorithms running in the mobile app and sends the data to the cloud using an API. Also, I was able to integrate Cutting-edge GUI technologies to represent interactive maps and graphs. Framework 7 based hybrid mobile app was delivered for the respective audience with really nice UI designs with high-quality material designs and user experience.

  ### 8. Awesome Framework for building quick and native feel hybrid apps.

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

It is easy to learn and implement. It's UI elements are awesome and almost every required component is there. Great integration with other JS frameworks.

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

Performance maybe be improved. New UI components should be added according to latest Android and IOS.

**Recommendations to others considering Framework 7:**

If you want to build a small to medium sized app that required less native device features then this framework is awesome than rest.

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is very good framework for small to medium scale apps but feel some performance issues on large scaled apps, and we can't access full native controls of the device with Cordova.

  ### 9. Framework 7 better then ionic :)

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

I am the UI designer cum UI development. Variety of UI component to choose from.

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

One of the UI can be refine which is the Cards Expandable, when the Cards Expand the Close button should be fixed location instead of scroll with the content. Then will be perfect.

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Framework 7 UI component css is easy to edit compare with Ionic compare. Some of the Ionic UI css, which i found very hard to edit as don't know where they store the code. And also the Framework 7 creator is very helpful, when we face problem he is very fast responding.

The implementation are based on the requirement. Maybe this framework is enough for your needs. If thats so.. then go with Framework7.

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hybrid apps. One code base for 2 apps. Great!

  ### 19. Framework 7 has a large projection as a hybrid framework

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel D. | Analista de Negocios TI, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

Framework 7 is a hybrid framework with great projection. What I like most is that it is very easy to use and has a lot of elements to create widgets. It also has a feature that catches my attention and is the good use of animation. On the other hand, it is open source, which ends up convincing me.

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

It is necessary to have a considerable knowledge of CSS and JavaScript to carry out the development of the design, since the framework can be a bit overwhelming in a way that generates confusion at the time of development. I also think that they should publish a paid version that has integrations with Angular or React.

**Recommendations to others considering Framework 7:**

Framework 7 allows for rapid development and contains many resources and documentation to create professional user interfaces. You can easily create Web, Android and iOS designs.

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Framework 7 I was able to create an application compatible with the Web, Android and iOS, which offered an API to access all devices through add-ons. I learned a lot since there is enough documentation on the Internet and even examples of designs developed with this framework.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

I like the built in components for both android and iOS. And with their latest updates, they are now supporting Vue and React.js.

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

F7 is a little bit hard to customize, you have to be a novice designer to modify UI appearance. And the support is awful.

**Recommendations to others considering Framework 7:**

This is a great UI library for building rapid hybrid mobile apps, if you're still learning React Native or other cutting edge solutions. This library is perfect for you

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

F7 solves the long development time of native android and iOS apps. I'm using it with cordova and I'm really amazed that I can build a working app in just 2 weeks.

  ### 23. The most amazing and most underrated mobile UI framework of all

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bence F. | creative developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2016

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

I've been using Framework 7 for 6 months for developing Apache Cordova based mobile apps and for someone who comes from web development I think it's clearly the easiest and most fully featured framework to get started with. The strongest point of Framework 7 is definitely the learning curve which is almost non-existent in this case; if you have at least at least an intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (and maybe even jQuery) and don't have a lot of time to learn something new, this is most certainly the droid you're looking for. Thanks to the amazing official documentation filled with real-life examples ranging from basic to pretty advanced ones, you can put together an application UI in a couple of hours even just by copying, pasting and modifying code from the examples. Framework 7 boasts a strictly mobile optimized jQuery-like custom DOM library called Dom7 under the hood which is super easy to use if you've used jQuery before - it has almost exactly the same methods and features the same chaining capabilities. The framework performs quite well on lower-end devices too, but it really shines through on mid to high-end ones, especially if you're planning to take advantage of Cordova's pluggable webviews like Crosswalk or WKWebView.

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

Although Framework 7 is an amazing work of art, being as underrated as it is means that sometimes for more advanced questions you encounter you won't always find ready-to-use answers on the official forums, let alone StackExchange. Although I've rarely came across such issues, it's still possible that heavy customizing of built-in components might raise questions or issues that you actually need to ask about from the developer(s). Although I've seen pretty good response times and a very fair attitude of the main developer, Vladimir Kharlampidi. It's also worth mentioning that some people might regard Framework 7 at the time of my review as an "einmannfirma" (one man firm), as he's without question THE main developer of the project. In other words, it's not an entire development team behind Framework 7, but for one I'm very happy with the way he designed and implemented it, and since the project is on Github, anyone is welcome to fork it and/or submit pull requests.

**Recommendations to others considering Framework 7:**

If you want to reuse your existing HTML, CSS, JS (& jQuery) knowledge instead of learning a high level UI framework from scratch, go with Framework 7!

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think the primary reason (web) developers like and choose Cordova for mobile app development is because they can reuse a vast amount of knowledge they already know about the technology (including it's weaknesses, quirks and pitfalls as well). They don't have to learn something completely new from scratch. Going with Framework 7 instead of Angular, React or the other hundred UI frameworks with custom syntax and loads of dependencies provides the same satisfying experience and sense of achievement when you've started with Cordova. It's definitely my go-to framework when I need to do something straightforward and when I need to do it fast.

  ### 24. Amazing. The documentation along with the animation responsiveness provides for a smooth UX.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khalil A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2016

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

The documentation would have to be my favorite part. Its difficult nowadays to really know what each framework's purpose is and how to use it. I also really enjoyed the animations. Smooth transitions mean a lot, if it even acts clunky, users will immediately be detracted from it. Keeping everything modular was also a plus, the fact that I can take out what I don't need and repurpose it for something else or even add more than what's required for future features is really nice.

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

At the time of me using framework 7, there was only one theme that didn't look well on Android devices. Although framework 7 was built around the Apple atmosphere, there's still a large portion of Android users who want the same experience but a little more Material Styled.

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Probably one issue that most have when it comes to application development, cross-platform. Many of my clients have requested that they would like a native experience for their application on multiple devices, which usually means rewriting everything or finding some clunky way to do it. It becomes an issue when one project turns into 3 or 4 because of compatibility with other devices. This solves that issue by allowing me to focus on getting the application to work rather than look native. It's like a project that's already half way done.

  ### 25. Used more than 3 times on real industry projects for iOS and Android apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pierre C. | Ingénieur en génie logiciel, développeur d'applications mobiles et sites internet, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2016

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

Simplicity and documentation of this framework are awesome compared to competitor (aka. Ionic.)
The best thing is that you can use whatever JS framework, especially Vanilla.js :) and the whole product is clean, fast, light and comes naturally in my design and development process. Use the based Grunt files to start development, incorporate Cordova on top of it and you have a perfect hybrid apps machine !

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

I don't have really bad issue to submit except the status bar management

**Recommendations to others considering Framework 7:**

Completness and simplicity

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multi slide with animation for iPad applications (iOS app on iPad)
Quiz (iOS app on iPad)
Bubblz!, an app to be submitted on Appstore soon : iOS/iPhone meme picture

  ### 26. The "Bootstrap" of mobile

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alessandro R. | Contributing Writer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2016

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

It allows you to focus on the logic of the app, because it manages well every aspect of the application: already-done components, routing, templating, DOM Manipulations.

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

It is not very easy to switch between material design and iOS theme.

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously we developed some apps with Cordova + jQUery Mobile creating all the UI components on our own. We needed to highly optimize every feature of jQuery Mobile otherwise it would have feel sluggish.
WIth Framework7 we can use Material components without reinventing the wheel and Dom7 is faster than jQM.

  ### 27. If someone uses phonegap to develop apps this is the best UI framework!

**Reviewed by:** Sepehr Y. | Lead Programmer, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2016

**What do you like best about Framework 7?**

Native look for both ios and android UI. Also the developer listens to every requests and develop them freely!

**What do you dislike about Framework 7?**

Well there's nothing much that I dislike about framework 7! It delivers a clean and native look UI perfectly!

**Recommendations to others considering Framework 7:**

I give this recommendation to people who want to use cordova/phonegap with framework 7:
If you want more performance, use react native! It uses native UI components and uses reactjs as logic. But if you just want to launch an app fast with little features use cordova + framework 7.

**What problems is Framework 7 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you don't want to pay for a iOS developer and an Android developer, and you don't want a complex app like a game, you can use phonegap+framework7 and launch your app very fast!
