"A great platform that saves us hours every month"
5/5
What do you like best about FortiCNAPP?

This tool is a game-changer. Its fantastic alert system and easy-to-use interface save us hours each month. Generating reports is a breeze, and it helps us easily address prospects' security concerns. It's the perfect solution for anyone looking to streamline their cloud security process and focus on what matters - their product. Overall, highly recommended for anyone looking to optimize their workflow and ensure their cloud infra is secure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiCNAPP?

Initially, the platform does not demand any configuration, but during the learning phase from your platform, there might be a few false positives. Nonetheless, the Lacework team's consistent support lessened the impact of this drawback. You should expect a transition period while implementing the solution, but it is ultimately a beneficial tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Pleasantly surprised"
4.5/5
What do you like best about FortiCNAPP?

I find it a really intuitive, easy-to-go tool. Easy to deploy, integrate, learn and navigate through it. Its ML based system really works, we received really few false positives. It covers all our current needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiCNAPP?

Lacework really will cover 80-90% of companies' needs, but for really mature environments with very advanced needs maybe Lacework still lacks some advanced functionalities such as proactive remediation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great security platform with outstanding after sale support"
5/5
What do you like best about FortiCNAPP?

I like how humanized they are. The platform is great but the support we received from their after sales team (a.k.a implementation team) was outstanding. Many other competitors make you buy and then leave you and your team on your own. Lacework really cares about your success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiCNAPP?

Nothing in particular but I recommend other leaders to have focus. Lacework platform can find a lot of security risks in your product. You chose what needs to be fixed first. You own your roadmap and what is important to your businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mixed experience with Lacework"
3.5/5
What do you like best about FortiCNAPP?

Lacework is a comprehensive cloud security solution that provides advanced threat detection and automated compliance management. The platform offers a wide range of security features such as intrusion detection, vulnerability assessment, and compliance monitoring. Lacework provides excellent visibility into security events and alerts, helping to identify and remediate security issues quickly. I appreciate the detailed reporting and analytics that Lacework provides, which help me to make informed decisions about my cloud security posture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiCNAPP?

My experience with Lacework has been mixed. While I appreciate the platform's robust security and compliance features, I found that it does not integrate seamlessly with AWS Security Hub and other AWS compliance tools. This makes it challenging to manage security across both AWS and Lacework environments. Additionally, the Kubernetes cluster support integration was delayed, and the "Soon" status message was vague and unhelpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lacework reduces the Barriers to Success when tackling the Complexities of Cloud Security"
5/5
What do you like best about FortiCNAPP?

Lacework normalizes visibility in the cloud, promoting better detection and response in a complex and constantly evolving threat landscape. Seeing value immediately after deployment is a significant advantage of the Lacework Platform. This immediate ROI allows even the most inexperienced members of a security team to be an active part of addressing cloud security risks. Lacework is also a true hybrid cloud security platform, allowing organizations to follow the migration lifecycle from on-prem to the cloud, maintaining visibility throughout the entire journey. In addition, with the numerous integrations that Lacework provides, security teams gain full A-to-Z visibility across the whole technology stack, providing the breadth and depth of telemetry data that is needed to successfully address cloud environments. What do you dislike about FortiCNAPP?

My only issue with the platform is the lack of a custom reporting capability and the need to augment this gap with other tools like a SIEM. While this isn't a show-stopper or an attribute that would diminish the overall value the platform provides, it can be challenging when trying to focus on extracting information that meet specific needs. "Fantastic multi-dimensional product"
5/5
What do you like best about FortiCNAPP?

Lacework's user behavioral analytics alerts are very accurate right out of the box. We have had to do almost no tuning of the product. Other competitive solutions have required us to enable/disable rules for weeks before it was effective in production, but Lacework provided us actionable intelligence right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiCNAPP?

The user interface can be somewhat confusing, especially when it comes to compliance reporting for the cloud security posture management functions. More streamlined menus and easier access to reports would be very helpful. Also, more granular control of permissions inside the console to grant access to auditors/executives would be a useful feature, as well as widget customization. "Cloud Security Confidence with Lacework"
4.5/5
What do you like best about FortiCNAPP?

A game-changer is Lacework's ability to neatly separate the issues of cloud security. Its AI-powered threat detection is equivalent to having a 24/7 cyberdetective on staff. It is nothing short of amazing how it examines behavioural patterns to find even the most subtle irregularities. Lacework's vigilant eyes have got my back, protecting me from potential data breaches and alerting me to any unauthorised access attempts .

The automated compliance prowess of Lacework is one element that truly sets it apart. It can be difficult to keep up with the constantly changing regulatory environment. But lacework uses its magic wand to make sure that my cloud arrangements always adhere to accepted practises. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiCNAPP?

My experience with Lacework has been mostly positive; however, I must admit that sometimes it can seem a little too positive about security. A little bit of customization in the alerting system might be just what's needed to strike the ideal balance between rigorous security and a calmer notification experience.

Furthermore, Lacework's attentiveness to detail sometimes pushes me even while acceptable cloud experiments continue, since I love the challenge of investigation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very satisfied. Covers many solutions"
5/5
What do you like best about FortiCNAPP?

I've only had to talk to support once and the attention has been excellent, they saw a UX problem and in 4 months they implemented it, few products do that. The creation of customized policies and reports is a plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiCNAPP?

Many CLI options are not available in the web console (e.g., deleting or editing queries or creating custom reports). Better control of API Keys is needed, such as knowing when they were last used. Very basic FIM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless and impactful CSPM, saving us time & money"
4.5/5
What do you like best about FortiCNAPP?

Excellent documentation & support for automating the deployment of Lacework via Terraform, which made it extremely easy to get up & running. The value was almost instant - Lacework drastically improved our signal to noise ratio & gave us insights into areas that we hadn't considered, enhancing our awareness & information clarity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiCNAPP?

I'd really like to have a Compliance section for Hosts (like we do for Cloud & Kubernetes), where we can use the Lacework Agent to run compliance scans. I'd also like the ability to export SBOMs, in SPDX/CycloneDX format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
