I can obtain weather briefings, navlogs, flight plans, log all my flights, get current aviation data and airport diagrams along with allowing to save documents directly to the app and having all the charts I need at the palm of my hands. It is a bit pricey with the minimum subscription price being $99/year for the basic features but it is very well worth every cent spent on it. Aside from making the subscription a little cheaper, especially for student pilots who don't need all the in-depth features, I really don't think there is much that needs to be improved. I am using this tool from the past year in CAE.This tool is used for navigation purpose, putting the flight plan into the multi colour display unit of the aircraft.We are using this for reading the jeppsen charts for moving the aircraft simulator from bay to take off point. You cannot see other Foreflight traffic like OzRunways or Avplan, and you cannot access FlightAware data either who they have partnered with. As in flight, if you are connected to Sentry Plus, this disables mobile data so FlightAware traffic cannot work! If they update the firmware so the IOS device sees it as "no internet connection", it will then use mobile data instead and problem solved.

Support was not great as when I spoke of the problem of not having internet access and not being able to do a PACK for one example, they told me I had to do my flight with mobile data off, but do the Pack in the runup bay with mobile data on and then turn mobile data off for the flight. However, having mobile data off causes Foreflight to give an error on load saying no mobile data access. It took several emails to get them to respond to this which resulted in them now telling me the opposite and to use ForeFlight with mobile data on even though it does not work.

Some of the supprt team did not answer all your questions and responded to one only and ignored the rest. Head of support saw my comment on this and in turn answered all my questions however. Her support was excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to import ads-b traffic is an invaluable tool in preventing air to air collisions. Nothing replaces see and avoid but this really helps see aircraft well before they come in to close. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use and massive amount of information that is so easy to use from fuel planning, airport information, flight planning and even gas prices. Fore flight is only working with apple products and has not bridged the gape yet to work with Window products make it more user friendly to all operating systems that are out there to use. As a new pilot, I am very impressed with the ForeFlight app. I like that I can use it on multiple devices at once if needed and for the price, I would not think twice about buying it as it is rich in functionality and features. I think the tap zone on airports on the maps should be larger or more sensitive. Sometimes you have to tap multiple times to get it to take and open up the airport info from the map. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A complete start to finish App that allows me to plan, file in brief as well as navigate flight plans. When paired with an ADS-B in source, I can get in-flight weather updates, traffic alerts and information about an airport that includes unscheduled stops. About the only issue I have with ForeFlight is whatever I have a reroute. You can only inserts one waypoint at a time. The workaround is to type in all of your waypoints after the destination and then re-organize you can only inserts one way points at a time.
